Latest Review: Let me start by saying that overall, we were impressed with DJ Bones. Our dance floor was active and lively throughout the duration of our reception. The reason we give a 4 instead of a 5 star, perfect rating, is simply for a series of small mishaps that occurred prior to and during the reception.
We had asked DJ Bones to open the dance floor halfway through the father daughter dance to all fathers and daughters in attendance, but he failed to do so. He opened up the dance floor to our favorite song, and to really kick off the reception, while we were out taking pictures even though we had specifically requested to be there to open the floor. There were songs on our very top 10 list that weren't played. All of the line dances were played within the same half-ish hour. Lastly, the date of a friend drunkenly requested the microphone in the middle of the dancing and DJ Bones gave it to him, despite him not allowing other various song requests without our permission.
Anne, his wife, was a huge help in various aspects. We are certainly beyond grateful for her presence. Our crowd loved the longevity/generations dance, as well as the top hat and tiara game. He was very receptive to some of our song requests and finding some songs that weren't the easiest to find (taking it as far to download clips from YouTube). And again, the dance floor was alive all night, which was our biggest concern.
