- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes, but is not limited to: The $5 State maximum fee per notarial act (One signing/stamp and seal) There is a $5 transactional fee per sitting. Any signing that goes over a 10-minute time span will be charged at $5 each additional 10-minute increment. A travel fee WILL be involved for travel.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Safety is key for both the notary and the customer during a transactions. With news of violent incidents related to the Real Estate and Notary industries, it is imperative to keep a firm grasp on following certain protocol to ensure the safety of all parties involved. This includes, but is not limited to: Multiple parties having access to the notary public, meeting date, time, etc. Also, while performing nationwide work through title companies, law firms and real estate agencies, multiple levels have the borrower or signer's contact information.
