Introduction: We are a team of professional pet sitters that specialize in creating a comfortable and fun experience for pets while you’re away. Leaving town can be tough, which is why we offer an array of secure in-home pet care solutions, ranging from out of town care and house sitting, to daily dog walking and regular play dates. Our team cares for all types of pets: From cats and dogs to small animals and exotic pets. Regardless of what you have, our goal is simple: To become your pet’s best friend. Our favorite part of the job is getting to know each individual pet family, and to develop a bond with the pets that we serve. Nothing is better than being able to put a wag in the tail of our dog pals, or a purr in our feline friends. We strive to make a great experience for every pet and owner that we have the opportunity to serve.

We love LPS! We work long hours, so we've been using them most weekdays for years now and they are reasonably priced, consistent, reliable and our dogs love their sitters. We have frequent schedule changes and they are always gracious about adding or deleting visits on short notice. They have been great about adding extra visits or adjusting schedules when we have a sick pet who needs to go out more often. They've also gone above and beyond by giving our pets extra meals or medicines when we've needed that. We occasionally have extra dogs from family visits or fosters and LPS has been great with them too, at the same cost as our normal pack. They leave a written summary every day, including notes if they notice anything out of the ordinary that they think we should now about. They have a convenient online payment portal where we can use credit cards, and they occasionally post photos of the dogs from their visits, which are fun. They are great about making sure the dogs have water and that the house is locked when they leave. We don't have kids, so our dogs are our children. There are very few people we trust with their care, so we are tremendously grateful to have a reliable, caring service like LPS helping with their care.

Low Country Pet Sitter walked my 110 lb dog almost every day for weeks. He loved them and would actually watch for them to arrive. They had no problem handling him even though he is large and excitable. They are very good with dogs!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our play date program is offered at $15/visit for a standard 20 minute session, or $20 for an extended 30 minute session. Out of town care ranges from $14-$17 per visit depending on how many times each day you would like for us to visit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first step in getting started is to arrange a "Meet and Greet" session. During this time, we can get to know your pet and his/her special routine. This way, we can create a customized care plan to keep your pet healthy and happy when they are in our care.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As pet owners, we always struggled with the stressful process of arranging accommodations for our pet whenever it was time to leave town. Our pet hated going to the kennel, and felt most comfortable in his own home and in his usual routine. We created this service for other pet owners in a similar situation to take the stress out of traveling, and to offer programs that enrich the lives of pets everywhere.
