    I have always been hesitant of working with a trainer, mostly because I have been afraid of being criticized, scolded or beaten down. My perception of personal training has definitely changed after working with Tatyana. She was understanding of my goals and truly supported me in the process by developing individualized plans, listening, teaching and encouraging me to take ownership of my health. I am happy to say that I have met personal goals and learned so much about how to maintain healthy habits that accommodate my lifestyle! Wonderful experience!

    Yoga has many benefits for the body and mind (such as increase in overall health, fat loss, stress reduction and improvement of the mood). My classes are directed towards wellbeing, fitness and health aspect of yoga practice and I will not impose any spiritual aspects of yoga practice (or anything you are not comfortable with) during my classes, but I will be available to share any of my knowledge and guidance on spiritual sides of yoga only to those who are interested and willing to know more outside of the class hours and be happy to host talks or meditations to smaller groups.     I teach bikram method of hot yoga. I am giving students precise instruction so they can safely go in and out of postures. I also focus in breathing.


    I teach from the beginner to advanced and everything in between. I'll bring yoga to you. Private, semiprivate, group, and corporate classes are available.

I really listen! I have also have had a lot of experience and education. I have a BA in Psychology & Sociology from Edinboro University of PA. A Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor, I am certified in Vinyasa & Integral Yoga, and a W.I.T.S. certified Personal Fitness Trainer. I am also certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, AED, and First Aid. I frequently attend workshops. I believe education and training are vital, not just for personal growth, but because it also prepares you to help, guide, teach, and serve others.

We are a martial arts training facility that offers self-defense and fitness classes as well. We have both male and female instructors who are available for personal training as well as group training. We offer classes in karate, full contact kick boxing, Brazilian jujitsu, cardio kickboxing, self-defense, yoga, and Boot Camp classes. My name is Christa Adams, I am one of the main instructors for North Augusta Martial Arts and Self Defense. I am the instructor for the cardio kickboxing, yoga, and Boot Camp classes. I am also a personal trainer and fitness instructor for multiple gyms and fitness centers in the local area. I have over 10 years experience being a personal trainer and fitness instructor, and I am certified under various fitness organizations. My sessions are generally one hour in length, 2 to 3 times a week. I find this provides the best results for my clients. I incorporate kickboxing, plyometrics, yoga, Pilates, strength training, and cardio into my sessions. I also incorporate interval, high intensity, and CrossFit training into my sessions on occasions as well. My current clients consist of various age groups (children to adults) and are both male and female. I do both personal one on one sessions, as well as group training. In the past, I have worked with clients who have various physical and mental limitations. I specialize in modifying my workouts to be easily accessible to everyone.
