Yoga has many benefits for the body and mind (such as increase in overall health, fat loss, stress reduction and improvement of the mood). My classes are directed towards wellbeing, fitness and health aspect of yoga practice and I will not impose any spiritual aspects of yoga practice (or anything you are not comfortable with) during my classes, but I will be available to share any of my knowledge and guidance on spiritual sides of yoga only to those who are interested and willing to know more outside of the class hours and be happy to host talks or meditations to smaller groups. An unhealthy posture can result in your muscles having to perform some of the work your bones are supposed to handle, leading to pain and spinal misalignment. Yoga poses help to promote a healthy posture by conscious execution of poses that focus on an awareness of proper spinal alignment. Specific yoga poses also help posture by strengthening the muscles in your back that support your spine.
