We hired April to cater a taco bar for a bachelorette party, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of the entire weekend. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The setup was beautiful, the service was seamless, and the food was next-level delicious. The taco bar had incredible variety—perfectly seasoned proteins, fresh toppings, homemade salsas, and options that made everyone happy (including picky eaters and dietary needs). Every single guest went back for seconds… and thirds. We’re still talking about how good the food was! Beyond the food, April was professional, friendly, and made the whole experience feel elevated but still relaxed and fun—exactly what you want for a bachelorette party. It felt like such a treat to not worry about a thing and just enjoy amazing food with our group. If you’re considering a personal chef for an event, book them immediately. This taco bar was unforgettable, and I would 100% hire them again for any celebration.

April was absolutely fantastic! She brought my husband’s birthday tasting menu to life in the most beautiful way - every dish was thoughtful, elegant, and full of fun, creative flavors. You could truly tell how much care and intention she puts into her craft. Each course felt special and perfectly curated, making the entire experience feel like a true celebration. Beyond the incredible food, April was such a joy to have in our home. She was warm, professional, and wonderful company, which made the evening even more enjoyable. She made the whole process seamless from start to finish and created such a memorable experience for us. It was truly a pleasure working with her, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. I would highly recommend Miss Katie’s Sweets/April Nicole Cooks for any catering event. Her and her staff was professional and responsive and made our family’s event very special. The southern menu we chose for our event was delicious! The Mac’n cheese, collards, salmon, chicken was seasoned perfectly! The onsite preparation of the food worked really well for our family and everything was fresh and hot!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Chef April come to our Airbnb in Charleston to cater my sister’s bachelorette party, and she completely exceeded our expectations! She set up an incredible taco bar that was not only delicious but beautifully presented. April was professional, attentive, and so friendly—she made everyone feel at ease and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and well-fed.
