This is my son's first time playing an instrument and Mr. John was very patient and attentive to my son for his lessons. He taught him about the guitar and after the first lesson he could play a small song. We were so pleased with his skills and knowledge. I am so glad I found Reverb Lessons and Mr. John to help my son to learn the guitar.

Mary has been my piano teacher for almost a year. I work full-time and go to school in addition to taking piano lessons. Mary has always been very punctual, flexible in scheduling as needed and very patient with me. Even during busy weeks where I have not had time to practice Mary can still find ways to make my lesson beneficial. I am very pleased with the progress I've made so far and I feel confident in her teaching strategies.

Pamela Pierson is a very talented instructor who cares about the student as well as the music. She takes time to listen to what the student is doing. She also asks the student what they want to accomplish and tailors the lessons toward a common goal. Pamela is also patient where needed but has the ability to be just as firm. I am very grateful as a parent to have found Pamela and have recommended her to many others.

Jake is a great teacher. I started off not playing saxophone at all, and through his lessons, I am getting way more comfortable on the instrument. He is very knowledgable and easy to be around. I highly recommend him to anyone learning to play or learn music theory.

Stefan truly knows how to teach a beginner. He is patient, organized, and clear with what he wants you to do, and knows just how to explain himself. He reviews everything to make sure you understand it and makes learning a new instrument fun and exciting. I would recommend Stefan to anybody looking to learn a new instrument.

    About

I work with my students to make sure their lessons are affordable. I have graduated with a degree in music from California University of Pennsylvania. There I have performed in the Jazz Band, Marching Band, and Concert Band. I have also performed in multiple groups outside of school. I was in a Jazz Combo. I also was in a Ska band called Soulios where I wrote the Horn parts and performed on baritone saxophone. With my experience, I will pass along my knowledge of saxophone and improve your playing ability I love the opportunity to be able to teach saxophone. Saxophone is a huge passion in my life and it is lots of fun to play. My favorite part is when a student finds love for the sax and we can geek out together over it.

I provide the best saxophone instruction in Nashville. Period. My students will have the opportunity to learn anything and everything the saxophone has to offer up to a professional level of playing and beyond. I will accept beginners to professional artists ages 8 and up. You must own a saxophone and reeds for lessons. You may bring your own materials and music however I will be happy to suggest what you will need to improve your abilities. I've enjoyed playing the saxophone for over 30 years. I'm an authority on the instrument, can answer any questions about it, and most of all enjoy teaching others how to master it's beautiful tones and musical playing abilities.

    About

Hello, my name is Ryan Latham. I offer saxophone, beginning flute and general music/theory lessons in the Nashville area. I have extensive touring/studio experience and hold a B.M. in Jazz Studies from MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN. I teach in a fun, non-intimidating manner yet in an environment where you will learn and become a better player and overall musician. We can work on elements such as tone, sight reading, improvisation, or just a specific piece of music you want to play better. I take beginning students to advanced high school players who would like to pursue music in college, as a career or just as a weekend warrior. I typically charge $40/hour but is dependent also on length of travel. I have a small studio in my house that is convenient for lessons as well. I have audio samples to send on request or we could meet up for a bit to see if its the right fit. Hope to talk soon! Ryan Latham What I enjoy the most is helping others learn another language. By that I mean the language of music. To be able to help someone learn an instrument and therefore "speak" to someone through sound is an awesome thing!
