We have done over a hundreds of community hours. But one of my favorites is “Save the Philippine Islands” this mission is very dear to me because my mother is a native of The Philippines islands And my family is still there on an island in the Philippines. I have embraced my Filipino culture more as an adult . I have also began to learn some of the language, so I can better communicate with our relatives. Oh, BTW they don’t speak English very well, buy one thing for sure they are such a beautiful people and the love that has grown over the years. Our family has been a source of livelihood. Surely the people would die away if they did not have some sort of resource to keep them Alive/Food especially. Americans do not appreciate America enough, we are free people. The Philippine island is nothing compared to our living. My mission to teach people that taking care of those less fortunate is our God given obligation and we should all teach ours children about the poor and less fortunate. Now lets all help “Save The Philippines Islands”….
