- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a strong background in event coordination. I worked for Budweiser of Memphis for almost three years in the marketing department putting on promotional events at over 25 restaurants in the Greater Memphis area. After that, I planned and coordinated events for the Boys and Girls Club. More recently I have planned parties for friends and family. After so many people told me I should do this for a living, I decided to listen to them! Plus, I needed an artistic outlet, and party planning more than satisfied my needs.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in adult events, though I have planned kid events previously. I find that the most in-demand events are birthday parties.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to read the service provider and make sure they see your vision. Know exactly what you want, and if you are unsure, be certain to pick a business that you trust will choose the highest quality look for your event.
