Introduction: Piersyn Academy of Music offers year-round professional, individualized music instruction in piano, clarinet, saxophone, and music theory to students of all ages and levels. Pamela Piersyn is a professional pianist and educator having over 25 years of piano teaching and performance experience. She is a certified teacher for Music for Young Children, an international music education program. A wide variety of music styles is taught, including classical, jazz, popular, and sacred, depending on the student's goals and abilities. Lessons are taught on a grand piano and are customized entailing a combination of sheet music and instructional method books including Faber, Alfred, Glover, and Bastien to inspire, motivate, educate, and meet individual music interests and goals. Lessons cover all areas of musicianship: sight reading, ear training, studying repertoire, music history, composition, theory, technique, and performance.
