Judith Dierkes Artist

Introduction: Designing and implementing visual art projects is my passion, whether I work alone or in the community. As an artist in residence for over 30 years, I work with all age groups to make art in a community setting. My studio work includes fiber, installation, performance and murals. So far this year I was awarded an installation at The Art Museum at the University Of Memphis, sold 4 works of art and did a residency in Yerington, Nevada with grades 1 and 4 making art that lights up. Right now my quilted painting, "Magnolia Memories" is on display at Benjamin Hooks Central Library in Memphis, part of the "Visions of Memphis" exhibit, until June 1, 2019.
