- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am required as a therapist to keep up my continuing education. My most recent certification is in the fundamentals of pregnancy massage. I am a certified labor massage doula and I am currently studying to become a certified personal trainer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided this career path when I realized my own stresses as a employee working for UPS corporate office. I knew I had to make a change I received massage therapy and I enjoyed the end results of massage. I wanted to make others feel like I did at the end of a hard day and I went in head first as a massage student. Honestly, it was the best career decision I've made.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in maternity, pediatric and women's wellness. While I specialize in these areas I also provide services to men. I work with individuals who know their body or is looking to become more in tune with their bodies and how to manage and maintain wellness on every level.
