Rebekah received her Masters degree in Music and Music Education from the Teachers College, Columbia University. She studied with Chenyi Avsharian, current co-owner of Shar Music and world-gold-medalist violinist. She has been teaching violin for over 10 years and believes whole-heartedly in the Suzuki Method, highlighting the famous Suzuki mindset that "every child can." In addition to inspiring a passion for music, she focuses on laying a solid foundation of strong technique and beautiful tone.

Rebekah is incredibly talented and gifted at teaching violin. She makes it very simple to understand techniques and concepts. She is also very professional yet very kind and goes at your pace of learning but still makes you feel as though you are being pushed to learn. I highly recommend Rebekah if you are looking to learn violin.
