Mr. Gortner is an excellent musician with a great repertoire. I could not be more satisfied with the music selection for my wedding and how well he played. He is very cordial and professional.Nov 6, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I give a 25% discount to charities.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Send them a follow up response with questions such as "Do I need to bring my keyboard?," "Shall I wear my tuxedo?," "Would you like a violin or bass player to join me?" After the date is set, I send a setlist so they can choose the tunes I play, and even the order in which they are to be played. Show up early and be playing when the first guest walks through the door. I never want to break up a party so keep playing until the last guest departs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Much of what I do is self-taught. Since boarding school, I have had mentors who have given me feedback and a tip or two.
