Hi! I'm Mike Dunbar, a professional singer-guitarist in Nashville, TN. I've been working in the music industry for more than a decade, fronting bands and performing solo. Every week I perform at corporate events, weddings, bars and lounges, virtual events, and more. I also write and record songs professionally.
My performance catalog includes over 500 songs spanning genres and decades. If we work together, I will look forward to learning about your vision for the event and selecting the right music for the occasion, whether that's instrumental guitar background music for a cocktail hour or a classic covers for a fun backyard party.

Mike was great was early and set up - played straight through the time and was perfect for our surprise 50th party. Song choices fit right in with the crowd and much nicer than a DJ!

Mike performed for Mom’s surprise birthday party last night. He was very professional, on time, courteous and played for the whole amount of time that he was hired. He played a great mix of music for the party from 60’s, 70’s to current country hits. He is very talented and everyone really enjoyed the music. We got lots of compliments! From the jump, Mike was incredible to work with. He was responsive, professional, and punctual. His music was incredible, he quickly (within a day) learned a song at my husbands request. His quality of music is at the top! He truly entertained us for our small backyard wedding. And it was a little cold and he didn’t complain! He is worth every penny and more. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always try to work within the customer's budget when I can! Let me know your budget and we can discuss how I can best meet your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn about what the customer envisions for the performance. From there, I can give an accurate quote and make recommendations. Then, once the customer submits a deposit, the date is locked in and we can hash out the specific details for the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've spent over a decade as a professional musician working in all sorts of settings, from weddings, corporate events, lounges, and more. I have a Bachelor's of Music degree from the College of the Holy Cross and also studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
