Tina B. says, "inquiry made through Thumbtack & Austin responded immediately & was able to come same day for a water leak assessment. He was hired to do the work (home on slab so drywall had to be cut) and it was excellent work. A few things of improvement is to be intentional about being timely(though on day 2 of completion he called to let me know his arrival time would be delayed by 15 minutes), never interrupt the job of the current client to take a call & discuss issue of a potential client (allow VM to pickup or hire answering service), always be prepared with all minor items needed for said jobs as well. In spite of the improvements, Austin & his Tech, Steven worked diligently, had good sense of humors. I appreciated that they didn't have a problem with me standing over their shoulders to observe and ask questions throughout the process. shower drain fixed and manifold system replaced, pipes were repositioned so there was an even flow of water w/o it having to take a roller coaster ride to reach the faucets AND it no longer takes 8 min. for me to have hit water on the opposite side of the house. ‼️"See more

Thomas R. says, "AVU did a good job came out on the day and did fix my AC unit also at a very reasonable cost so I can't really complain about much. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm still left a bit confused. I was told everything was in working order and the only thing that was messed up was my thermostat and that I would need to replace it. We put the old thermostat back on because getting a replacement is as simple as popping the old one off and the exact same new one on (no wiring required because the mounts and wiring are the same). I went out to grab another one and when I returned the AC is working with the original thermostat like nothing was ever wrong/broken. I'm not saying the thermostat still couldn't be the problem nor would I be shocked if it stops working again, but at this point it just leaves me with maybe more questions than answers (like is the problem truly resolved?). Regardless at the end of the day everything is in working order, I got a spare thermostat incase it acts up again that I can easily swap to, and AVU did the job."See more

This was restricting the airflow and causing issues throughout my home. I contacted GP Plumbing, and Grieve scheduled a time to come out and provide an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable, so I hired GP Plumbing to correct the drainage issue. They showed up when they said they would, completed the job in a reasonable amount of time, and did excellent work. I am very pleased with the results and the service I received.
