Working with Millie for our Franklin, TN wedding was a dream! Millie's team executed the details of our wedding day perfectly and they were just simply wonderful to work with. If you are looking for perfection on your wedding day I would encourage you to use Southern Touch Events. I was having a non-traditional Catholic Spanish Mass and even though I put Millie Mathis and her team to the test they delivered outstanding results! From the moment you meet her, the way she makes you feel so comfortable and at peace that she will take care of that special day is priceless. Leading up to the wedding she had no problem meeting me, answering call, emails, and texts. I never had problems reaching her. No one had to worry about anything for my wedding as Millie had thought about EVERYTHING. She had such a detailed timeline for the wedding it was incredible. She even had timelines for bridesmaids and groomsmen separate that included all from the rehearsal to the wedding day schedule for each. The day of my wedding she was bright and early at my hotel suite to prep me while her team was at the church and reception site. She had EVERYTHING under control. Unfortunately the day of the wedding the AC in the reception area was not working so in the middle of the reception her team rushed to the nearest store and bought 5 boxed fans that they bought out of pocket. She saved the day and everything turned out stunning! After the wedding she did bill me for the fans but she also included the receipts for the fans so I just took them back to the store after paying her and got my money back. She is just so pleasant to work with and I'm sad my wedding is over because I do not get to talk to her much anymore. But if I renew my vows later on she will for sure have to coordinate! Unless by then she is a famous event planner and charges outrageously :). Because her prices now are super reasonable and she is always doing things that will surpass your expectations. If someone that is committed, responsible, dedicated, organized, and very pleasant to work with is what you want; then look no further.

Working with Millie allowed me to have the wedding of my dreams. She was thoughtful of things that I would have forgotten about, organized, receptive to my ideas, and put all of my anxieties to rest. We met repeatedly to make sure all of the details were taken care of. The day of the actual wedding, I was calm and collected and able to truly focus on what mattered the most - getting married! Millie made sure there was not one detail or anxiety I had to think about or worry about. Having a wedding planner was not initially something I thought I would want or need, but as the plans come together, it became clear that having someone to organize things, conduct the specifics of all the minute-to-minute details and specifics would make the whole wedding day experience that much less stress-free and memorable. I can't thank Millie enough for her reasonable rates, exceptional organization skills and overall love of wedding planning. She helped ensure our wedding day was perfect!
