- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer all of our different services (Closet Audits, Personal Shopping and Styling/Styling Sessions) individually, but we also have packages that are sometimes a better fit for our clients. We usually like to discuss individual needs with each client and can then discuss and/or customize a package that will fit their individual needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer complimentary consultations to all new clients. We feel it's so important to have the opportunity to sit down and get to know our client before working with them, and we also want to give our clients the opportunity to get to know us!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Finance and another bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising. The knowledge I gained during my studies of both degrees (although completely different) have both been very useful in starting and continuing to operate my business. I also worked for a designer, prior to starting Effortless Style, and they provided incredible ongoing training that was another great building block and knowledge base for me. Fashion is always changing...every day. In addition to my education and training in the industry, I'm constantly reading magazines and industry publications to stay up to date on the latest trends, industry news, etc. I also attend spring and fall trend events each year.
