FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is $30 for half hour lessons,$45 for forty-five minutes and $55 for one hour lessons payable thru Venmo, Zelle or Paypal. Once a student feels comfortable and gets into a groove they may find it easier to pay for all the upcoming lessons once a month instead of paying for each lesson one at a time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get an idea what level they're at by talking with them. Then I like to find out what style of music, songs and artists a person likes so I know what is interesting for them. I help students learn the styles, riffs and songs etc. that they want to learn..That's what makes people want to learn guitar..it should be fun..I encourage people to tell me their favorite songs and I can listen to it and learn it right then and show it to them..I do this all the time! I also teach music theory if desired and the different techniques of playing guitar.. I like and teach all styles. Classic rock is very popular. And then some people also want to learn how to improvise or jam over blues, rock or country, etc. I want to help people improve their guitar playing..
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taught thousands of lessons in Los Angeles,CA. and Nashville TN. which is the city I live in.I have taught at many music stores. I have performed live in many band and solo situations. The largest concert I played was in front of 30,000 people. I also have Studio recording experience and wrote the music for several documentaries that were aired on A&E. I spend a lot of time writing my own music as an artist and spend a lot of time on my vocals. I studied Vocal technique for 1 1/2 years with a Classical voice coach. I was a Volunteer Guitar Instructor for 3 years at a music school for low income youth called W.O. Smith Music school on 8th Ave. in Nashville where a background check is required so I have had that done there as well as for thumbtack.
