My name is Phil, I’ve been a musician for over 15 years and I’m currently accepting more students! I teach many different instruments, such as guitar (electric and acoustic), bass guitar, drums, piano, and ukulele. I love incorporating artistry, emotion, expression, music theory, songwriting and production into my teaching. I’ve performed in foreign countries, recently got a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production from Berklee College of Music, and I have an EP out on Spotify (Phavors - if you want to check it out)! I love working with all kinds of students. Currently my youngest is 5 and my oldest is in her 70s! Some students just love to play as a nice stress-reliever, and others are performing artists with their original songs on Spotify! As of now I only teach virtually via Zoom/FaceTime/Skype. I am an audio engineer and can mix, master, and edit anything for you - whether it be a song you wrote, a podcast you recorded, or audio for a commercial. Whatever you need that requires audio work, I can definitely help you with!

So grateful to have found Phil. Been working with him for about 6 months now. Every lesson has been worthwhile. He is flexible and easy going. It seems he knows all genres of music and is able to cater to everyone’s musical preferences, pace of learning, skill level, etc. Don’t expect miracles from Phil (he does comes close) but do expect to learn useful and awesome tools every session. His cat is awesome too. If for nothing else at least take a lesson to see the ferocious killer!

Phil is AMAZING! When I was looking for guitar lessons, I tried out 5 different instructors (in person and virtual), and Phil was the best one! His lessons are a bright spot in my week. Phil makes the lessons and learning fun. He is personable. He invests in his students, and he is encouraging. He has incredible knowledge of music, theory, and guitar. He tailors his lessons to students' levels of experience perfectly and meets them where they are. He always takes notes on his ipad and sums up what we learned during the lesson so that I have everything (tabs, chord charts, etc.) that I need to go back and reference or practice. If you are looking for an amazing guitar teacher, look no further! You've found him!
