John Davis Bass Guitar Teacher

Introduction: I'm offering bass guitar lessons for all ages and experience levels, from beginner to advanced, and customized for each individual. I have a B.M. in commercial music and music business from Millikin University in Decatur, IL, with a focus on bass and over 12 years of experience playing a wide variety of genres, including jazz, country, funk, pop, rock, and more. (Additionally, my undergraduate study equipped me with strong knowledge and understanding of music theory.) For the past year, I've been working exclusively as a freelance musician, playing bass. This was my goal when I moved to Nashville just over two years ago. Let's chat! My typical rate is $25 for a half-hour lesson and $45 for an hour. Usually, my students meet me at my house in East Nashville, but under special circumstances, I might be willing to travel.
