- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I literally fell into it! After more than 10 years of being a 'working model' I broke my foot while at a photo shoot & could no longer work. I got stir crazy very quickly & I started painting furniture & doing design, as it was something I always enjoyed doing, but never had time to devote to it. Almost 3 years later, here I am!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I helped a client redesign his bathroom from 1000 miles away. & it came out exactly as my client wanted it be. Totally matched his style and wants/needs, even though he wasn't able to articulate what he was wanting to do during the designing process.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I'm *always* on the prowl for items for my clients. I call it 'treasure hunting'. It's one of the best parts of my job! Find somebody that not only has a 'vision' for your pieces, but has vision for pieces that they've worked on for others.
