I had the pleasure of working with Kandes for 3 years at Vanderbilt Medical Center Special Events. As she was the most experienced in our department and worked directly with the Associate Director on VIP events, she was very knowledgeable, not only with event planning, but with knowing the Vanderbilt community. Kandes was always level-headed during difficult situations, willing to offer guidance, and help others who needed assistance. Her positive attitude and sense of humor, along with her high energy and positive outlook made her a great co-worker.
