A highly regarded local security company recommended I call Nashville Smart Homes, as I was looking for external cameras for my house and the security company primarily only did monitoring. I don’t know anything about security cameras, and contacted Stephen about installing 6 cameras, since we’d had some unsettling situations in our neighborhood recently. I was SO impressed when he came out the next day; he listened to my concerns, evaluated the situation, educated me a bit about available options, and made a practical recommendation that considered price and value as part of the equation. In the end, we were able to secure the areas I was worried about with just THREE cameras. He even walked us through the App, and gave us some tips on ways we could maximize the tools it provided.
Overall, it was a great experience! My wife and I feel much safer and confident our house is protected. And the installation didn’t ‘break the bank’. We paid a reasonable amount for the equipment and service we received, and the peace of mind is priceless.

Stephen (pronounced Steph-in) was fantastic. He is the premier tech guru in Nashville. Not a difficult feat as most people here seem to think at dial up speed but someone has to be the best! No surprise, he earned his stripes working in Silicon Valley, not the show, the place.
He was able to explain everything in layman’s terms that even my sweet tea riddled brain could understand. I just hope that by the time the cancer takes hold from all the WiFi devices in my new smart home that Stephen will have his doctorate so he can make the diagnosis/prognosis a similarly pleasant and educational experience.
I now finally have the NYT Crossword app on my phone! Kidding, I have a Nest so I can turn the A/C off from afar and make life hell for my cat.

I submitted a request through the Nest site for a pro installer on a Sunday night, and within minutes Nashville Smart Homes called me and came to my home within a half hour. Stephen really knows his stuff and was able to help troubleshoot quickly. Highly recommend!

Where do I start?! Stephen knows his stuff. I had a rough idea of what I needed for my new East Nashville house but Nashville Smart Homes took everything to a new level. After getting a very expensive quote from traditional security companies for security cameras Stephen explained the many benefits of the Nest Camera line so we went with Nest for both exterior and interior cameras. Also since we installed so many cameras they hooked us up with the Google WiFi system that took our AT&T Fiber connection to a new level. All said and done our internet is blazing fast and our cameras give us a peace of mind money can’t buy. Oh, did I mention the cameras even look great! I highly recommend the expertise of Stephen and the Nashville Smart Home team.
