Buying and selling a house is not easy especially with a one year old in the mix. Jessica was extremely patient with us as we searched for a year for that perfect home. She held our hand as we made offers, offers fell through, and I constantly wavered on the right move as a brand new mom. She was with us before the beginning and I know she will still be on our side even after the dust from moving boxes settles. She never tired from my requests to constantly see houses ... sometimes the same house multiple times. She wasn’t out for herself either - she looked out for my best interest too. When I was prepared to go beyond what I felt was a fair price for a home, she helped me weigh the pros and cons and ultimately offered me very sound advice with the assurance that I had her complete support either way. It would've been much easier for her to pressure me into constantly counter offering on that home than to counsel me as we walked away from that and began the search again. I’m so thankful that she did as I sit in my dream home with a huge backyard, excellent school zonings, and every box on my list check marked...and at a great price to boot! (That she negotiated for!) There are so many working cogs in this real estate business and so many of them need oil.... I can’t even begin to describe the ludicrous obstacles. But Jessica managed to jump through all of the hoops with grace and professionalism. Trust me, you want her in your corner as you embark on this overwhelming journey. She’ll get you through and leave you with a grateful heart.

My house sold in less than a week. I believe Barbara's expertise in staging and design (and I listened) is the main reason the house sold so quickly. I felt her cost was very reasonable and she worked wonders using her eye for design and knowing the real estate world. I would definitely recommend her even if you just wanted her input on staging your home for sale.

My family meet Steve for the first time, twice in the same day in our community. He played games with my family at the park. At the end of several hours of games played with Steve and his son he told us he was a realtor and gave us his card and said if he could ever be of service to us give him a call, well we tucked that card in the wallet. We were wanting to buy but needed to get a few ducks in a row first. About a year later, I had forgotten about that card, and had been approved for a loan and had been set up with a realtor from the loan company, well one visit with her and several delays of service made me remember STEVE!! I said, "hey honey, do you still have that mans card?" Sure enough he did. We called Steve right away and he remembered us and reminisced about the fun at the park that day. Steve is a real family man, whether its yours or his. I really enjoyed every meeting with Steve and left feeling confident that I would have the home I had always dreamed of, and I do. He is very prompt and makes himself available to cater around work schedules. I feel he went above and beyond for us.

    What's the difference between a real estate broker and an agent?

    Real estate agents and real estate brokers both help clients buy, sell, and rent residential and commercial properties. Real estate agents cannot have their own real estate office and must work under a broker. Real estate brokers often have real estate firms and employ real estate agents.     What do real estate agents charge?

    Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale.
