Jon is great! We recently relocated to the area from NC, where my son loved his guitar teacher. I was hoping for him to have as good an experience here (she was a hard act to follow). So happy to say that he is! We are so grateful to have found Jon and Grapevine Guitar School!
Michael is an excellent guitar teacher to my twelve year old son. He's patient, personable, and enormously talented. My son has not only improved his guitar playing, he has a better understanding of the theory and the structure of the music he is learning. He will be a better musician because of it. We feel fortunate to have Michael teaching our son guitar.
Mr. Clark has worked with my precocious 10 year old son for about 6 months now. As someone who knows little about music, I have had to learn what little I do know through research, observation, and experience. My absolute goal is to find my son great teachers. What I have come to conclude is that greatness comes from the application of a methodical approach, knowledge, passion, but so too are the intangibles essential, It's those intangibles that make the difference between good and great. As a teacher, Mr.Clark has mojo. He connects and conveys in a way that is conducive to development. He is of even temper, high intelligence, a craftsman, and is just one classy guy. My son has gone from having no vocal presence to now having the ability and confidence to sing on stage. Watching him work with my child is akin to watching Michelangelo chip away at the stone from which David might be born. If one word comes to mind it is "metamorphosis"; Mr. Clark is the impetus that can drive just exactly that in his students. If there were one fear I have it is that at some point Mr. Clark becomes so sought after as a music teacher that our access to him is compromised.
My son Adam takes piano classes for the school and needed more one on one private lessons for a special piece. One day I looked online and I found Liam Furdyna through Thumbtack. We requested to meet up with him and he responded right away within minutes! As parents we look for the best for our children and right away we knew Liam would be a great piano teacher for our son. Since then our son goes to him every Monday weekly for 45mins. He also offers 30 minutes available if needed. Liam is very accurate/specific about how he teaches and shows his work. Adam has participated in several recitals with Liam throughout the year and has done very well in teaching all his students their music piece. He himself plays the piano at the end after each recital appearance and it's unbelievable how and how fast he plays. We highly recommend Liam for piano lessons!
Been taking lessons with Dennis for a few weeks now. It’s been a wonderful experience. I’ve learned quite a bit and can tell I’m going to learn a lot more. Dennis is friendly and patient and very good at teaching. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a guitar teacher.
Florence is an excellent teacher! I'm 23 and getting back into violin after about 10 years hiatus. She is very encouraging while challenging me. I receive a lot of constructive criticism, correction to posture and technique etc. I have had a few private teachers in the past (in violin and piano) and none compare to Florence. I highly recommend her to students of all ages.
Michelle is well knowledge in teaching every aspect of learning music.
Both of my boys love Kyle as their music teacher. My boys are beginners and I really want to find a male teacher for them. Mr kyle is very patient and encouraging for them. Class was well managed so that each boy will have an individual time based on their learning speed. They also talked about basketball and stuff like "guy friends". My boys cannot wait to see him for each session. I am very happy.
I highly recommend Richard Stuart as a piano teacher. He makes lessons for my daughter productive and fun. Excellent teaching fit for a young music learner!
Marc has everything you should look for in a good music teacher. A passion for music, knowledge in every aspect of guitar playing, and most of all how to help you improve as a player.
Pete was my daughters piano teacher and my sons guitar teacher. He is an excellent instructor as well as mentor. He has a passion for music and teaching and my kids loved working with him.
Dr. Carter is an incredible vocal teacher. She has decades of first hands experience as well as many years of coaching students of all ages at various vocal ranges. She's very passionate about what does she does and gives prompt feedback. Students can make improvements under her guidance.
For as long as I can remember I have always loved music and was even lucky enough to be able to participate in my elementary/high school band programs where I learned not only how to play an instrument but to enjoy and appreciate many aspects of music. The piano is an instrument that I have always admired and wanted to learn to play but it wasn't until I was an older adult (age 54) that I made the decision and commitment to begin the journey. For the past 18 months, my beginner lessons with Linda have included the basic fundamentals of music; general music theory as well as focusing on the proper techniques for playing the music task at hand. Her studio offers a casual atmosphere yet provides each student the opportunity to learn and work with quality professional equipment. Each lesson always includes a never-ending supply of encouragement; dedication and patience - the key components in helping students achieve their goals while gently easing the challenges of the piano. Lindas credentials are second to none and I feel very blessed to be able to say that Linda Pritchett is my piano teacher.
Mr. Padgett is an excellent Violin and Viola instructor, he is also an excellent teacher, he has a deep knowledge and understanding of music, he also teach music composition, he continually seeks ways to improve, innovate his teaching, has a high enthusiasm for teaching. He knows how to inspire students to learn, to love music. My son has learned from him for about three years, I witnessed his "big change" from a beginner to a talented performer.
Cathy Baldwin is your gal! My 10 yr old started taking lessons with Cathy in June and we are both very, very pleased with the instruction she provides. She is informative, educating, motivating/encouraging, and patient. Before I moved to GP my son had two other music teachers who he didn't have quite a liking for and so he was losing interest/focus in music. But, with Cathy, it's a different story. We love her super laid back positive vibes and that's what ultimately keeps us looking forward to his next lesson!
My daughter Mary is fifteen years old, she has played the violin for nine years. Ms. Aleksi has been her teacher for the past three years. Mary has improved immensely since she started working with Ms. Aleksi. Her improvement is evident in her technique, tone and overall musicianship. Since Mary has been working with Ms. Aleksi she has made The National Honors Junior Orchestra, All Region, Area and she made a gold at State UIL Solo contest. Mary is also in the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra. Ms. Aleksi works with Mary on all her music and auditions. Mary is so blessed to have Ms. Aleksi as her violin teacher.
I began taking guitar lessons from Kenneth when I was 14, and right away, I noticed his ability to mold the lesson into an experience that fit 𝘮𝘺 musical interests and what I wanted to learn. Whether I wanted to learn theory, practice a certain technique or rudiment, or just have fun learning a song, Kenneth could always adapt and make the lesson interesting and enriching. This is a quality that many music teachers lack, and it’s the aspect of his teaching that kept me enticed for so long. In addition to being a great teacher, Kenneth is a passionate music fan of many different genres, and through taking lessons with him, I was exposed to many new musical concepts that opened my eyes to the world of music I was yet to discover. Though I no longer take lessons, I can say for sure that my time with Kenneth has made me a much more skilled, receptive and well rounded musician, and I am very thankful for all the things I learned.
I found Channing Hooper to be an excellent, patient, knowledgeable violin teacher. I am picking up the violin as an adult and I feel she will definitely help me immensely in accomplishing my goal of being able to play the violin!!!
Lane is a great teacher. He moves at your pace as he trains you to be a better musician. He takes time to hear your struggles and takes more time helping you over come them. He genuinely cares about your progress as a student and will do whatever it takes to help you succeed. He is the definition of "going above and beyond."
Dustin has been teaching piano to my 5 year old for last 6 months - he is great teacher and I have watched my daughter make progress. Also, Dustin is flexible and is willing to work with you if you need to have make-up lessons.
Karen is a phenomenal voice teacher! I've had teachers before but no one as intuitive and knowledgeable as Karen. She knows alot about music and is really an expert on the voice. I was having some voice problems and she realized that is was because of my tongue and my jaw. We worked on some exercises and now my singing has really improved. Erin
