FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a very fair business. I am always trying to give my customers value but video production has its expenses and time commitments. In general, video production is charged by the amount of time, expertise and equipment needed to complete a job. This includes time after the actual shooting back in the editing suite. It is difficult to list prices as everything varies from job to job as well as market to market. I would ask prospective customer to PLEASE contact me to learn about pricing as it can be flexible but only if I know the details of YOUR job. Many job quotes here on Thumbtack do not have enough information to give a proper quote. Some rough pricing: Sports Games - $175 for a full game but this varies per sport. Music Concerts - $750 for multi camera shoot (includes editing) Live Events/Conferences - $500 to $4000 depending on the situation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am a big fan of communication. When I am introduced to a new customer I ask a lot of questions and try to inform them of the process of creating a great video that suits their needs. I see myself as a solution provider and I can not provide the best solution without knowing what you are looking for. So communicate with your vendors. This is quite a different process than just picking a company to replace your roof or unlock your car. It is very possible we will need to be in contact for months during your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning, reading, talking to industry peers and looking for ways to improve my product. My hardware is always up to date from 4k cameras to a 25 foot high stand to film Soccer, Lacrosse, Club Basketball or any other sport that is played in a field without high bleachers. I have a degree in music with a lot of experience in live performance situations. This gives me a comfort around all things live and audio related.
