Juan is very friendly and thoughtful and I felt very comfortable with both of them. He walked me through options, including the why, how and what. Once I decided what I wanted to do, they were able to quickly schedule the repair and had it done in a snap. I've had problems with plumbers before, leaving the area a complete mess (one time to the point I had to hire people to fix the mess), but not with Juan. They did a fantastic job and left it cleaner than they found it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"See more

They were communicative and on time and at arrival were so kind and professional. They explained the situation, how it could be fixed, that the gas line wasn’t the issue- but a faulty fireplace and that he could totally help me with the repair, but a fireplace technician would he a more affordable option. And with that, after putting in the work to explain and show me everything they could, they didn’t charge me a service fee! I am so appreciative of their professionalism, honesty! I highly recommend Garretts Plumbing for any plumbing needs!"See more

I put on an online request another big plumbing company last Sunday needed to fix a disposal this week. I called W when nobody called back. I was told they put me on TH schedule but then no showed twice. This is week before Spring Break and we couldn't leave to go to the theme park with the sink clogged and the disposal not working!I had to call another company and, my neighbor Gary has used Roto-Rooter Plumbing for years. So, I gave them a call. They answered immediately...a REAL human receptionist, not AI ! My issue was taken seriously and Jos was dispatched.Jos called within the hour and confirmed the address, and arrived on time, even with heavy Friday after work traffic. He was quick to assess the issue, had the part and tools on hand, and gave me exact details on price for the rush service.While it was $$$, it was worth it to have quick, professional service all around and now we can relax knowing everything is fixed."See more

I noticed multiple 5 star reviews, but am surprised with how this small job repair request (still undone) turned out. I received a leak detection report from a licensed plumber, with images detailing the root cause was the copper pipe. on 4/20/2021 I summarized that info in my request to Garrison plumbing via Thumbtack (pipe repair and I wanted another pressure test, post fix). I received a message via Thumbtack ("I see that you are looking to repair copper pipe to angle valve and check house pressure. I will be happy to help you with this. "). On 4/21/2021 I receive an invoice, presumptively for copper pipe repair, didn't register with me it was for an angle valve. I approved the work and had no reason to believe it was NOT for the copper line. The work performed on 4/28/2021 reflects it was an angle valve and got a suggestion to replace the copper pipe (at first I thought it was additional copper pipe than the original, not so, it was still the original request). They provided a 2nd bid, which was double the first bid so now I am close to 900 bucks for what appears to be a 1-2 foot of copper line, angle vale, and hose line. they offered 100 bucks off (and to remove $175 for removing about 2x3 of drywall if I did that portion myself). I told the phone rep, I couldn't agree to the 2nd bid. In escalating this to Mr Garrison, I wanted to discuss several things 1) I wasn't agreeing to the 2nd bid, 2) what should be done when two licensed plumbers have different diagnosis 3) how much labor is involved to complete the original work, new bid amount etc. 4) request written pressure test results. I received a call with the ID of Tyler Garrison, and the conversation started out great. But I didn't get very far in talking to the caller, I kept getting interrupted when trying to talk (I did ask if he could let me convey a complete thought). From my recollection, in trying to communicate and discuss several questions I had, he tells me that he is sending this to his lawyer, that he is pursuing theft of service, questioned my intelligence, that he could go remove the angle valve since the water was off at the property, questioned if I was truly the homeowner, and that I should be ashamed of myself. I think there was an impression that I wasn't going to pay, that wasn't and isn't the case. After this afternoon call on 4/29/2021, I received an email that was much different than the tone on the phone the same evening. I then responded via email 4/30/2021 with options of adjusting the total amount of the job, and getting questions answered. I emailed and texted. No response was received from them. I received an email today, 5/1 after I issued payment today. They are still sending the same 2nd bid, for the original work request, with no discount. To note, I don't reflect I have a written response with the results of the pressure check/test that I paid for already. The email today also states they misinterpreted my copper line repair request in Thumbtack. No thanks. I will pass.
