They did a great job to replace the faucet in my kitchen. Very professional.
Assorted types of plumbing under kitchen sink failed days after artic coldfront. The shut off valve had also failed. We took pictures for him, he got parts & fixed it, we finally dried out
Johnathan and his team were very punctual and efficient. They carefully demoed our kitchen and deposed of all the trash.
Manuel and his team did such an amazing job on my daughters nursery ceiling and walls! The walls and ceiling are absolutely perfect, and as an interior designer by trade, I have high standards. My husband and I are hoping to build a home this fall and plan to contact Manuel again for all the drywall in the new house. Not only is the finished quality top notch, but they also took precautions to make sure the room was taped off to reduce dust from getting all over the rest of the house. Highly recommend.
We recently had Fina Ross remodel our entire kitchen. We knew it was going to be a big endeavor, and Fina helped us from start to finish. All in all we ended up spending about $50,000 and it was all well worth it. They completely ripped out all of our old cabinets and replaced them with new ones after completing a beautiful paint job on them in a dark gray (which I know from experience can be very tasking to paint such a dark color in an enamel). No streaks/cracks/tackiness at all and the final look is spectacular. New granite counter tops and a built-in butcher block. I was very excited about the way Fina was able to suggest design ideas to us and actually create our vision without going too far over budget. Her employees were always courteous and on-time and they were able to work around my husband and my crazy work schedule without disruption. Our favorite part has to be the custom tile backsplash that took painstaking care by both Fina and her guys, and she was there to observe the installation every step of the way. All in all, I would always recommend Fina to do any project and we will definitely use her again in the future!
They custom built a tree deck that fits great in my oak tree and yard. They gave me a fair quote up front and delivered in a timely matter. All the crew were polite and friendly and a joy to work with. I'm so looking forward to using my new tree deck.
Jim Hyde cut an opening in the wall between our kitchen and family room to give our home a more open feel. This included the relocation of cabinetry, tile back splash removal, electrical rerouting, and lighting installation. His work was flawless, and he was always reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. Highly recommended!
We are very pleased with the look of our bathroom. Felipe was easy to work with and did his best to make sure we got the design we wanted. We received quotes from several contractor between $8,500 to $43,000. Felipe quote was not the lowest but in the range we thought was reasonable for our size bathroom. Our project had several set backs which were no ones fault: The tub filler we selected had a design flaw, which required some redesign. The sink drains didn't work the way we hoped and had to order replacements. The tub showed up with a crack and we had to order a replacement. Felipe worked with us through each issue and did his best to guide us to a solution. One of the great things about working with Filipe was the fact he knows some very good subcontractors. The company he recommended to do the show glass, did a great job at half the cost other companies quoted for the same work. Plus we got a lifetime warranty on the glass and workmanship. With every project there's always the 90/10 rule. 90% of the work is straight forward and fairly easy to complete. The rest of the work is more tedious and requires time. There were a couple of areas I thought the work could have been better: The pony wall tile was not cut straight and left ragged grout edges (picture). The retexturing could have been better if not rushed (picture). The caulking around the tub, particularly behind the tub was very poorly done. For the price, I really don't have anything to complain about. This was our first project hiring a contractor to do a project. We learned some important lessons. 1) Create a check list of work items. This will help make sure there are no disagreements on what is and isn't part of the contract. 2) Inspect the work regularly. It's only your fault if the works not done correctly. 3) Don't pay until the work is done to your satisfaction. 4) Get everything in writing including the warranty. I can't say enough how happy we are with the new bathroom. I have other property in Austin and I will use Felipe for future projects.
Bill did an all around, good job for me. He did my dry wall repair that I needed and then added texture to the walls in the kitchen and large Master Bath. Additionally, I had him demo an old backsplash in the kitchen and put up a new Travertine backsplash. Easy to work with. Will work with again.
He was timely and was professional. The piece is structurally sound, build out of quality natural untreated product, which is super important when building a encloser for an Iguana or any critter. He made a wonderful effort to have the piece go with the other wood in the kitchen, cabinets (the encloser sits in what would be the kitchen nook). His pricing for such a specialized piece was great! Custom pieces that one could order from one of the online custom encloser stores start at what he charged me for the entire piece and his is much more substantial and structurally sound (for my Iguana that can get up to 15 pounds that is super important). I also loved the fact that he went through the extra effort to make sure the her encloser is super moisture proof. With exotics that have to have a steamer running in their enclosers twice at day, moisture proofing is a big deal. He also built a additional matching sleeping box for her. The only two issues were the miss judging on if the encloser could be brought into the house in one piece or as two pieces (I thought he was going to bring the encloser in pre-cut pieces and assemble it one site.) Which always tells you to clearly communicate with your wood worker on your options for assembling a specialize piece on site or at the shop. The other small issue was needing to add an additional hole cut in the top (which would have been easier to do while the encloser was on its side), but I will be able to do myself. Over all the encloser is huge (enough living space for my adult Iguana girl), extremely well built, and most of all a beautiful addition to the kitchen nook of our house. I did have to add some natural rug stripes to the ramps and turf to the second shelf for my Iguana girl to have some grip and wouldn't slip due to the extra water proofing, but with an exotics you will always have to do some extra modifications once the main piece is together and you have to see how your critter interacts with it to know what modifications with will be needed to be added after the fact. I will also be adding a custom man made sitting branch due to the size of her encloser and her size & weight, but again these are extra things that an owner will have to make after the fact. I highly recommend Matthew for building your custom encloser for your scaly critter family member.
I hired galactic to repaint my house. They did such a great job that I hired them to paint my kitchen cabinets as well. I highly recommend!!!
I know nothing about remodeling so it was awesome to work with Figure 3 Remodeling and Painting. Our bathroom was a disaster from the 70s and Chad's ideas were so fitting to our style. He really brought us into the century with such amazing modern designs. The whole team was friendly and really helped me through the process. Now I think I need my kitchen done!
Sergio did an incredible paint job around my house in a short amount of time. I was so impressed! I asked him to help with several other projects too including staining a patio and building custom shelving. All turned out better than I could have imagined. He is so nice and kept me posted throughout. I highly recommend him to everyone I meet. Thank you for all your hard work, Sergio!!
Abe did a great job on our kitchen backsplash. He was professional and finished the job right on schedule. We are very happy with the backsplash and would highly recommend Abe.
We needed to get our kitchen cabinets refinished. My husband found Tru-Design Interiors online. Donny, the owner came and gave us a very reasonable quote. He was very diligent and professional with his work, and the results are amazing. We were highly satisfied with the work and would highly recommend the services. Donny, also refinished and repaired a 50 yr. old table for us. The table was solid cherry and had been in the family all those years. It was scratched and the finish was impossible to clean. Donny turned it into a brand new table. I would use Tru-Design Interiors again, because the workmanship was great..Thank you Donny!!!!
I recently had kitchen granite countertops installed by TCS Renovation & Painting. They look awesome! Manager Freddy Diaz was most helpful and professional throughout the process -start to finish! The granite installation crew lead by Juan did a wonderful job and also were most professional and highly experienced in their craft. I am very pleased with all TCS Renovation and Painting employees, including office personnel staff Judy who provided friendly and great customer service. in a nutshell- very highly satisfied customer!
Chris helped me restore my 1965 vintage camper and did an INCREDIBLE job!! From the gutting, to the walls, to the electrical, plumbing, custom cabinets, the bed, closet, kitchen, custom butcher block countertops, there is nothing he can't do! I was so pleased with the finish product that so exceeded my expectations! So attention to detail and perhaps the thing that set him apart was his use space and managing my expectations. We had a few set backs on the build, but Chris was communicative and fair. The best part was how affordable and fair he was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 5 stars!
We used Matterhorn a few weeks ago and we couldnt be happier with their work! They replaced rotten sub flooring in our upstairs, patched two large holes in our ceiling, installed wood flooring, repaired buckled tile in our kitchen, and installed five ceiling fans for us during the two days they were here. They were extremely professional and friendly. Nick and his crew worked very hard and I feel the really went above and beyond for us. Im already ready to contact them for more jobs we have around the house that need to be done. We were very impressed and would highly recommend them.
Salah did great work building out a new doorway where one didn’t exist, and closing up the old. With careful attention to detail, he matched the architecture of the previous doorway to make the final product look as if it had always been part of the home layout. Additionally, he helped with final design touches and installation of custom shelving in the newly created nook.
Spa-like bathroom vanities, floating shelves and framing of mirrors. Couldn't imagine a more beautiful design. Love it!
Bhavani was hired to help refurbish an old home. She drove from Austin to Houston to see the home, take measurements. She then provided drawings for demo work, lighting, kitchen redesign, paint colors. She continued to answer questions throughout the process and provide additional drawings for items that came up. The house is looking great, already have some buyers and renters asking about it and its still not finished.
