Introduction: Hello! My goal is to share all of my guitar experience, knowledge, and insight to those that are interested in starting the guitar, as well as, expanding their guitar skills. It is my goal to help the musician realize their potential as a guitar player. I do not focus on any specific style/genre of music, but instead, focus on teaching the instrument to the student. This will give you the ability to tackle any genre you like. I have plenty of teaching material for beginner through intermediate but am flexible if student knows exactly what they want to learn and practice.

Jonathan was an excellent guitar instructor. He’s given lessons to my son and me and I could not be more pleased with the service. He excels at teaching multiple levels of experience, from beginner to intermediate. He’s patient, but focused; knowledgeable but fun. Working with Jon, it becomes apparent that music is more than just a hobby. He simplifies complex practice and can help with any genre of music. Allowing us to control the pace of our lessons while also making helpful suggestions. Although I’ve had no formal study, he’s shown me sounds and aspects of music I’ve never known. Very informative. If you’re looking for a down to earth, relaxed setting to refine your guitar skills, Jon is your guy. Thank you again!

I tried to teach myself to play guitar but it didn’t work out so well. Working with Jon, I was able to go at my own pace while getting outstanding instruction. He genuinely wants to help you and I think that’s hard to find in some instructors. The techniques he showed me have improved my finger speed and strumming tremendously. With his guidance and patience I’ve been able to learn and understand more about guitar than I ever thought I would. I still have a ways to go but if anyone will get me there, it will be Jon.
