I really don't want to write this review, but I think it is only fair to those who may be wanting to use Forrest. We were excited to get our project started, but Forrest was dragging his feet on the scheduling portion because his flooring guy didn't come out to give us an estimate. Regardless of the flooring, we wanted to schedule the painting of our first floor and kitchen cabinets along with the tear-down of a wall and the installation of a new back-splash in the kitchen. We had wanted a cabinet in our game room painted as well. We received an email from him with the estimate to perform work and were happy with the price and wanted to move forward. He said that he didn't want to paint the game room cabinet and asked to do additional painting in other rooms to make up for the labor estimate. That's where the pricing discrepancies began. We wanted an updated estimate with the work that we wanted along with the back-splash that he left off the original estimate. After asking for this, and emailing Forrest exactly what we wanted, he wrote this back: "Apologies for the late delay - been on site all day. Charlene I thank you greatly for your interest in having us do the improvements to your home, but at this time I'm afraid we must decline. We have budgeted our time incorrectly with this project and given infeasible estimates for the nature of our business - this is my own personal fault. I wish you two the best - but we will no longer be pursuing this contract." Apparently, he underbid the project and instead of rebidding it, he just bowed out. It was extremely unprofessional. Now, we have to find a new contractor to do the work, but it could be a blessing in disguise.
