Singing lessons here are the best I have Experienced before, I’m Learning things about my voice I never thought they were there , hitting higher notes so easily, I highly recommend it!
Jake's approachable vibe puts a nervous beginner like me instantly at ease! My lessons are always fun and productive, and I walk away excited to practice. He makes learning exciting by breaking down your favorite songs and offering unique tricks to simplify concepts. Can't recommend him highly enough!
I probably should give him a 5, but since I know nothing about music lessons, or piano I have nothing to compare his lessons to and I don't want to mislead anyone. What I do know is that my son loves going to lessons and that Robert is a really nice guy. The price is also great compared to other instructors I spoke to.
I took lessons from Trevor Perrmann for about 3 years, and I have learned a lot. In that time, I had lessons from Trevor in Classical Guitar, Piano, Electric Guitar (everything from pop to jazz), and I also learned a lot about music theory. I've taken music lessons from 5 different teachers, and my lessons with Trevor were some of the most productive and fun in my life.
My Daughter is been taking Piano lessons with Mr. Dan for one year and we are absolutely happy with his teaching technics. He is very patient and fun. My daughter said he is one of the best teacher she has ever had. I highly recommend him to anyone.
Sonia worked at our synagogue as our soloist and a teacher for a number of years. In both capacities, she taught music to both adults and children as part of her duties. She has a beautiful and well-trained voice, is easy to work with and brings a wonderful sense of joy and professionalism to everything she does. She brought a number of new musical arrangements to our congregation and managed to make the congregation sound beautiful singing together, even without musical accompaniment. She was always well-prepared, knowledgable and patient when teaching music, whether to singers or to people who just liked to sing at services. If you want to improve your singing, Sonia is the perfect choice no matter your level of skill, from beginner to expert! And you'll love her too!
I am a piano teacher myself, so I think I'm a pretty good judge of piano teaching. I'm also extremely particular (ask my husband and my friends)! Taylor Kroff is an exemplary piano instructor in every way. He's extremely qualified, gifted at teaching concepts, patient and professional. He is organized and structured in his teaching methods, which I really need. Bottom line - I'm loving my piano lessons with Taylor Kroff and I'm LEARNING!
Great singer, great teacher. Kylah possesses considerable knowledge of vocal technique and musicianship. She maintains this without losing touch with the primary propose of music; to enjoy the music itself. One can not ask for more when searching for a vocal teacher.
We were blessed to have Ms. Kay for our kids piano lessons. Our kids have separate piano interests and learning curves. Ms Kay worked well with both of them, identifying their individual strengths and weaknesses and working with them. We wish her the best on her move to another state.
Laura is a fantastic voice teacher, and my daughter loves working with her. She makes voice lessons fun and engaging while also instilling core skills and technique along the way. My daughter has made immediate progress, and enjoys practicing between lessons. Laura is also easy for me to work with. Scheduling is pain free, she arrives promptly and she’s a joy to have in our house. Her love for music is infectious. I would highly recommend her as a teacher.
Tom is awesome, he is teaching both my sons and I. He is patient, and brings everything together to where it makes sense even to someone with no music background. If you're looking for a great teacher who has the knowledge and patience to teach anyone he's your man!
I have been taking guitar lessons from Nick recently, and he is great! Very patient and explains things in a way I can understand. Doesn't jump down your throat the way some instructors do. Know he also teaches voice and keyboard lessons, and believe they'd be a good bet too. I would definitely recommend him!!
Getting my son to try new things and sticking with them is no easy task. However, after starting piano lessons with Ms. Mindy a little over a year ago, my 8 year old has not only stuck with it but has performed at 3 piano recitals and 2 UT Festivals. Miss Mindy makes learning the piano fun by teaching them popular and exciting songs that they can play almost immediately. Then with her expert knowledge and fun and relaxed teaching style progresses them to more advanced pieces. I am thrilled with my son’s amazing progress and with the enjoyment and sense of accomplishment he gets from practicing and playing the piano. Thank you Miss Mindy!!!
I LOVED taking lessons from Jay. He has an incredible way about him that makes you feel so comfortable and confident in your ability as a singer. He helped me conquer all vocal insecurities and now I am SUCH a confident singer. I owe most of my vocal accomplishments to this man right here. He is wonderful! An amazing instructor!!
Christopher is a remarkable guitar professor. He really masters students lessons and guidance.
I took guitar lessons with Tim a couple years ago before he moved away. I knew his skill and talent from his previous work in bands and it was a no-brainer for me to go to him. His ability to assess where you are at as a student and apply the proper curriculum to help advance you in your craft is what you would expect from a quality teacher such as Tim. If you're looking to open your creativity, you can't go wrong seeking guidance with him. He's got my recommendation 🖒👍
Howard is a professional musician who puts as much effort into his lessons as he does his performances. He has taught me jazz, country, folk, pop, & rock songs that I can play following his instructions and the tabs he writes for me. My interest is in learning the different techniques pro guitar players use, which Howard has taught me. He has the patience to teach novices to play a song from beginning to end, including riffs and solos once they become more advanced. I've also learned music theory from him, which has helped me become a better singer with the choirs I've joined, in addition to making me a better guitar player. He accommodates whatever I request and is always prepared in advance. I live in NW Austin, but the drive is well worth the effort for his lessons. It's a beautiful and relaxing drive to Lakeway, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for instructions even if they were just around the block.
My children have taken lessons from Robert for years now, one a beginning student and one with several years of training. We were looking for a teacher who could bring a fresh perspective to learning piano, with a good-natured spirit. We found these qualities in Robert— a creative and interesting approach to beginning piano, a gentle and thoughtful demeanor, and access to his own current work, which makes the repetitoir exciting. Robert is dependable, professional and trustworthy. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone wishing to begin or continue piano lessons.
Mr. Daniel was professional and knowledgeable about teaching guitar lessons and his passion for teaching the guitar made playing it one of my favorite hobbies.
I can't think of anything that could have made my daughter's experience better! A high school actress, she got bit by the musical theatre bug but had no training and little confidence in her voice. There is no other word but "uncanny" for Chantel's ability to connect with an individual student, intuit her strengths and unique musical tastes and objectives, and yet also inspire her to stretch and move outside her comfort zone. My daughter also took guitar lessons with Chantel's husband Derek and I would say exactly the same thing about his teaching -- plus he showed such a kind and generous nature whenever my daughter struggled to balance school, work, acting, etc., and wasn't so diligent with her practicing! Both Chantel and Derek really got this - and respected it - always tailoring their lessons to my daughter's needs and capacities at the time. I believe the training you'll receive from Chantel is as rigorous as you'll find anywhere in Austin -- and my guess is there aren't many places where you'll walk out feeling so good about the experience. Chantel and Derek's home studio is warm and intimate -- the *perfect* place to deepen your love of music and performance.
Kris is really chill aka patient with my kids, who aren't into piano lessons. He doesn't push them but has a firm yet encouraging demeanor. He's cool.
