Great Starts

Introduction: I specialize in teaching "Introduction to Guitar" and "Introduction to Spanish." My passion is "Helping the new student" (ages 8-80, with little or no experience) to get a GREAT START in their new learning endeavor. As a career teacher, I developed the skills of guiding students through new materials in an easy to understand sequence and to help each one rapidly duplicate the desired objectives. My emphasis will be the success and GREAT time of your learning experience. Without tipping my hand too far I utilize a procedure which makes connections to things the student already knows, which turbo charges the first few months of one's learning successes. This is true for the speed and breadth of learning, overall understanding, and the ability to find early successes in PLAYING THE GUITAR, or SPEAKING SPANISH. Helping students get started in a new area of learning by sharing learning shortcuts and my passion for the subject with them. It is always the sparkle in the eyes that says, "I've got it, I've got it", that makes my day.!!!!!
