FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice that I have is to make contact with the therapist to ask questions regarding the services they offer, the training they have received, and the lenghts of time their sessions consist of. I believe having an opportunity to ask these questions gives you a chance to learn a little about their skills, as well as their personality. You would never want to go to someone that makes you feel uncomfortable. That might defeat the whole purpose of the massage. It is also important to keep in mind that private therapists (self-employed) have to return voicemails, texts and emails in between clients, or at the end of the day, and at times, the end of the day is quite a while after the average 9-5pm work day. With that, I would advise that you allow a private massage therapist at least 24hrs to get back to you. Good therapists are hard to find, and it is definitely worth it to be patient, rather than assume they are irresponsible or inadequate because they were unable to take your call, or respond to it right away.
