Introduction: Many things set us apart from other businesses. Most importantly, I am a classically trained pastry chef that makes everything from scratch within 24 hours of the event, so our food quality is outstanding, and being a former chemist, I am trained to be meticulous and detail oriented. However, the most noticeably different thing about us is we specialize in throwing only tea parties, so we are experts at what we do and perfectionists in the art of serving tea with pastries. Lastly, many businesses offer only catering OR event planning and outsource the rest of your needs. I can offer an entire party experience from in house professionals and minimal outsourcing, so I can be held personally accountable for any success or failure. This motivates us to work hard and pay attention to detail while maintaining a professional presence in your venue, or more importantly, your home. What DON'T I like about my job?! As a career changer, I have the unique advantage of perspective. When you spend so many years miserable at work (as I was in my previous career) and get the opportunity to follow your passions and make a career out of them, it's hard NOT to like everything you do…because why spend all that time and money switching careers just to end up doing something else you don't love? I LOVE MY JOB. I love everything about it: the baking, the tea, the party planning, and even the hard manual labor it takes to pull of an event! Opening my company has changed my life and is the best decision I ever made.
