Introduction: I have taught many students of all ages for most of my adult life both in the private sector and at Independent schools. As a full time music teacher. It is very rewarding to see the growth through the years. I love hearing music played and sung by students who practice and love to perform. I love seeing a shy 13 year old suddenly blossom and earn roles in musicals that they might not normally have gotten without the confidence that I encourage with them. This makes me so very proud. It is also so wonderful to teach adults of all ages. Adults often return to a love from their past. I have gained many students through word of mouth and this is the best recommendation that I can receive. I am new to Austin Texas relocating to be a Grandmother. My 5 year old super active son is doing piano lessons for the first time with Debbie. And she's been fantastic with him! She helps him stay on task and makes the lessons so fun! She plays games with him and if he is too wiggly she has him stand up to play a quick active game before sitting down again to continue the lesson. He's learning so much and I feel confident that she's setting him up too be a life long learner of music!

I am semi retired in my mid 60’s with no previous piano playing experience. In a relatively short time Debbie has me playing! Yeah! She is a fun, patient yet very knowledgeable teacher. I would highly recommend her for any age group and any experience level.

Debbie O’Neill is outstanding! She has worked with our daughter for the past several years. She has helped her to greatly improve and expand her musical repertoire of singing across several genres, and helped her to win several singing competitions. She will meet the student where they are, and help them achieve the improvement in performance that they desire. We cannot say enough about Debbie!

Mrs. O'Neill is not only a terrific piano teacher, she is also very nice and organized. She rarely runs late and if she does, she lets you know. She is pleasant and my child really enjoys her time with Mrs. O'Neill. She has also taken my child to the next level and improved her playing tremendously.

I charge by time. I prefer payment a month in advance. If lessons are missed without notification, it is forfeited. Make up lessons will be remote.
