He tore down a flower bed rock retaining wall and hauled off, put down metal edging, cleaned beds and mulched. Great job, very efficient and accommodating. Very reasonable price. I am very pleased to recommend him!
Edgar arrived in the time slot promised. He did an excellent job, communication was easy. I will be using them again and would highly recommend!
We hired Jon to replace our wooden 9 year old crumbling fence that had partially blown down from a storm. We got lots of quotes from big fencing companies and no one could come close to the price that Jon offered us. Jon's quote was about $10 cheaper per linear foot than the other companies could offer! Jon and his crew did a beautiful job on the fence. They even had to deal with connecting the fence to a large tree and they did it seamlessly. I am so happy that we had Jon and his crew come out to do our fence. They were able to finish the project in just three days and I hardly knew they were even there. The best part is, that rather than just take the old wood to the dump, they offered it to a few couples who needed the wood repair their fences/make crafts which is super environmentally friendly! I will definitely hire them in the future to do other projects around our house.
They're a great service. Very detail oriented with cleaning. Arrive on time. Super nice girls I feel comfortable leaving my home with.
Victor showed up right on time and did a great job with my project!! Quick and easy. Also a really good guy.
We had a 40 yr old 30'x30' garage w/ a loft that had to be torn down. In 2 days Erwin and 2 others took the garage down, hauled off all the sheet metal and lumber and cleaned the site of all nails and trash. They even cut out the old lag bolts from the concrete on my request. They are prompt, courteous and safety conscious. We now know who is going to replace our old deck and replace the roof. Good job Erwin!
Friendly ladies who did a great job cleaning! They are my new monthly cleaners :)
They did a great job. My yard needed to be fixed! They tore up all the weeds and the area that was being overgrown and laid down compost and then sod. They also placed a metal edge along the back so I could landscape it. THey finished in a timely manner and were on time to work. So far my yard looks great!
Matt came right on time and was super professional! I highly recommend his services as they are reasonably priced and reliable.
Darian was prompt, thorough and very, very fast. I would definitely use his removal service again.
We had some friends over the other day so we decided to hire King of Maids for the 2nd time. Very pleased with the service!
Frank was great! The price he quoted to remove my old couch was more than fair. He was quick to respond to my questions, was prompt and on time for the removal. I will use him again for junk removal in the future.
This was the first time I had Tammy come. She was on time, had an awesome personality, did an outstanding job of getting everything cleaned and looking very nice in 2 hours tops! I will definitely use her services again! Thanks again!
This was the best cleaning service I have ever used. They were helpful, fantastic overachievers, and did the best job anyone had ever done on my house. You really could not do better.
Nolan did an excellent job of building a custom frame from square steel tubing to support a new granite countertop for our outdoor kitchen. The top required additional support and a slight rise in elevation in order to work for the granite slabs. Nolan was very professional and did the work quickly and within a very reasonable budget. His measurements of what we needed resulted in an excellent fit for the countertop. His metal working skills are very good!
Brian has completed a number of projects for me, and I think he's great. He is a meticulous carpenter and a creative and skilled craftsman. He remodeled my laundry room by removing cabinets and adding custom shelves & crown, it looks great. He added a trash station to my island cabinet, which is so much more functional. He installed custom shelves in a bedroom closet; he removed the metal ones and added nice painted shelves making the space much more usable. He also replaced my front door and added knobs and pulls to my kitchen. I plan to use him for future projects, specifically custom shelves in my master closet. I highly recommend Brian hes fantastic.
We initially contacted Jim in response to an ad for gutter cleaning. During our initial visit, I learned that Steel Horse Constructors does much more than just that. I had been wanting, due to getting older and needing to stay off ladders, to install gutters with leaf guards, but the major brands were cost-prohibitive. Jim showed us a much lower cost alternative gutter screening, but didn't try to hard-sell them. We decided to go with these. Since I was planning to paint the trim on our single-story brick house myself, we had Jim give us an estimate for that as well. We also had some rotted wood around a metal back door, which he inspected, and found that it would cost less to go ahead and replace the entire door and frame. We opted for a new door with the metal blinds sandwiched between double glass panes. We also had two dormers with deteriorating wood trim which needed to be replaced. Jim prepared an estimate which included priming the bare wood (high quality primer), priming the gutters (a different primer needed), removing and replacing the door (turned out that the original builder had botched the installation badly), removing and replacing the dormer trim, painting all trim, fascia, soffits, and gutters (they wound up applying at least two and sometimes three coats of high quality paint) , installing screens on all the gutters, cutting down a large front door and installing new sweeps on both doors. What wasn't anticipated was the extra work and material required to install the back door, which Jim custom fabricated the new frame and molding for. He also custom fabricated the new arched window frames for the dormer windows, even routing them to make them more attractive. Whenever an issue arose, Jim had an answer for it, and he proved to be knowledgeable and adaptable in each instance. Even more to his credit, he and his crew took care of numerous issues we had around the house which weren't even included in the original bid, incorporating then into their work as they went. When they were finished (and they weren't finished until Jim inspected everything to insure it was done to his standards), the original estimate was what we paid; he charges not one cent for all the extra work they had done, unlike many contractors who nickel-and-dime you to death for any extra costs. They cleaned up their job site well, and our house looks better than when new. All told, the work took about 6-7 days. We can't express enough how impressed we are with Jim and his staff; they are hard-working, honest, and perfectionists. We are already planning to use him for other projects in the near future (that is, if we can get him away from the neighbors who have already hired him for their projects. We definitely recommend Steel Horse Constructors - you will be glad you did. Dan Toney
