I drove out to go view Voraussehen Kennels which was far from my house but worth it . I met Mike and two other sweet women who were on staff. I was really impressed with how kind they all were and that Mike spent time getting to know Binxie (my 10 month old German Shepherd pup) while I chatted with the other two women about what my training goals were. They seemed to genuinely like dogs and training which is important for me. I have a happy puppy and I want her to stay happy! My pup hasn't started her training yet, but I feel hopeful and reassured that Voraussehen will be able to meet my training expectations. Either way I will leave a review once I pick her up after her 4 week training.

I can not say enough good things about Modern K9s. They are very trust worthy trainers with your pets. They kept us informed & sent us pictures though the 4 week obedience training and answered every question we had along the way. Our German Shepherd came back a calm and new dog! I would definitely recommend & use them in the future.

Daryl and Tammy work with you and your schedule. I have done both the boarding and boarding/training with both of our German Shepherd Dogs, Luna and Loki. He gives helpful suggestions with how to work with our dogs. Wish he was closer to us in Pearland but it is well worth the travel to their place. High recommend them to anyone

Mike and family at barks 5th Avenue have changed our life with our german shepard. She was wild and we thought we were going to have to give her away. There training gave our dog fina....another chance to be truly a house dog with manners. I can't thank them enough they are truly professional dog trainer. I would recommend them to everyone....my friend also had his dog trained there with the same results. Once again if you need a referral to call me that is not a problem

I highly recommend AMY ( Furever home)!!!! She is incredible! I have used many trainers in the past and she is the only one who really taught me what i needed to know to accomplish success!!! The first time I met her I was having issues with my two dogs, who are litter mates. They all of a sudden started fighting with eachother and one time there were injuries. She came to my house and she immediately saw the issue and she worked with me and showed me how to reconize the signs before the fight. I was amazed! First at all with the knowledge she had. And how easy it was to correct with the right tools and behavior on my part. 2nd because I did all the work with her guiding me. To me that is important because I had trainers do all the work while I watched. And as soon as They leave the dog wouldn't respond to me the way he did to trainer. So I was left feeling like I wasted money. 3rd - They have not fought since!!! She now comes over to help me with walking and prey drive! Also recall and dog depression. If you are looking for a good trainer who understands animal and their body language and will teach you...Amy is the one! She is patient and caring. My dogs love her!!!! She also is very good at answering questions you might have after she leaves your house! I feel blessed to have Furever home in our lives!!!

Mike and Missy are phenomenal. I left my 9 month old German shepherd with them for about 3-4 hours, and in that time alone, he had already progressed with Bishop by him not barking vigorously, pulling on the leash, or misbehaving. The reason I brought Bishop to train is because he was getting older, bigger, & stronger. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to control him. But Mike works with us both. He examines the relationship between the both of me & Bishop to better train Bishop for me. They also have land for bishop to roam, & I live in an apartment in Houston, so Bishop does not get to do that often! Mike invited me to come visit whenever I could so he could also teach me how to handle Bishop. He's doing basic training right now, but I already know I'll be bringing Bishop back for further training. What I really like about Prairie Kennles is that I'm getting my money's worth. I promise you will not be disappointed with their work.

Chelsea & Ty are professional dog trainers and lovers of all breeds. I wanted training provided in my own home in the circumstances and day-to-day situations encountered by my dog. Pugs can be stubborn to say the least and Modern K9s proved their integrity, quality, and ingenuity. They were eager to respond to questions or concerns at any time. I also sent my pug for a "refresher" when I had an extended trip. I think he came back home and thought home was a little boring. My dog was always eager to work with the trainers and they taught the two of us very well. I don't hesitate to recommend their service.

She was very patient with my pup. He is extremely overly excited Great Dane. Just in one training session, she has been able to get him to listen to a few commands. I am looking for for future train patients with her.

Terry, the dog trainer, has been a great dog trainer. I have tried out many in and around the area where I live, and have never had any success. This time I am seeing successes that I never thought possible. My dog is making great strides. Yes, she has a long way to go, and so do I, but with Terry's help, I believe we are achieving that goal well. Terry is very professional, yet very down to earth, and will talk to you about what he wants you to do. He models everything for you, then he gives you the leash and lets you do the work with your dog. He offers good information and helps you to correct the areas in which you might be doing something wrong. He also seems to do so until he sees you are getting it right. He explains well, and he doesn't just say ok, now you do it. He observes closely and helps you. His work quality is tip top, and he is very responsive to the dog's needs as well as any needs the owner has in working with the dog. He knows what he is doing, and he knows how to teach people . Terry is rarely ever late, but if for some reason, he is going to be a few minutes late, he always calls me to let me know this. Value can mean one of two things to me. I always think of it in a monetary way first, and as far as the money that I have spent and am spending, I believe these lessons are a great price for the money. I think they are worth every penny I have put out for them. I think about not only being worth the money for the lessons, but when I think about it, this man drives all over the place, and the price is worth it for the 35 - 40 mi drive he makes to come help and teach me to teach my dog. I realize too, that he has expenses, and he has to pay for gasoline, so the monetary price I pay is definitely worth it. I really cannot express what kind of value Terry and the lessons exhibit on a teaching and content level. I think this is the most valuable thing I have learned in a long time. I cannot measure the value that the lessons have for my dog and me. I believe she feels like she has more structure, and I am feeling positive and excited , because I am learning to be her leader instead of the other way around. I am also feeling more respected by her. I am so happy that I found Always Faithful Dog Training and that I have Terry to help me and show me how to handle my dog !

Kenneth at Sit Down Sit often watches my puppy for me! I’m very cautious leaving him with people as he can be a pretty sensitive dog but I know that I can always leave him in complete confidence with Kenneth. Kenneth is attentive so I know that my boy will not be getting into anything and they have a blast playing together! Additionally, kenneth is a wonderful dog trainer so I know that I don’t have to worry about my puppy slacking in his training while he is with Kenneth and Sit Down Sit.

About

I have been a canine behavior specialist in business since 1982. While much of my work currently is with working canines, I have begun to take on private clients here in Houston. My specialties are all forms of aggression, anxiety-related disorders and rescue dog integration issues. I see clients in their homes or for less severe issues such as socialization and obedience, I offer a reduced rate if customers come to me in the Hobby Airport area.

When had our German Shepherd trained through the Bark Resort. We went from an out of control puppy to a well behaved dog. Tammy is absolutely amazing with animals and if we ever got another dog she would be first on our list to call. I have zero complaints about our training. Best decision we made to train our dog with Tammy!
