We hired Jaxci’s Balloons for my wife’s 40th birthday, and they didn’t just deliver they became part of the celebration. When we fell behind on setup, they jumped right in without being asked, helping with decorations and making sure every detail was perfect before my wife arrived. Their photo booth setup was absolutely stunning, perfectly matched our theme, and the photo quality was amazing. My event was a small, intimate gathering of about 15 people. Creating a beautiful aesthetic and capturing lovely photos were really important to me, so I decided to invest in a professional. **Pros:** Jaxci is a kind & lovely individual. During our initial consultation, she was incredibly helpful—thorough, flexible, and eager to work within my vision and budget. She also provided great resources and ideas, which I truly appreciated. **Cons:** Although I prefer to give perfect reviews I understand the importance of being honest & thorough as others review what is the best fit for them. So I say this respectfully but also want to be honest: Although I had friends who could have done my balloon décor for free, I chose to hire a professional to avoid last-minute issues because things like that are highly stressful for me and to ensure everything would run smoothly. I really wanted to be able to relax and enjoy my 30th birthday, knowing things were in capable hands. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet those expectations. My party started at 6pm, but Jaxci didn’t finish installing the decor until 6:25/6:35pm. we ended up not officially starting until closer to 7pm—for an event planned for only 3 hours. I was overwhelmed, stressed, self-conscious, and ended up in tears. . I became emotional and overwhelmed, especially when my mom’s concerns were met with a casual “I’ll be done soon.” That moment felt a bit dismissive in the midst of my stress. That said, once completed, the décor looked beautiful. In hindsight, I personally wouldn’t choose to hire again. I can’t go through that kind of stress or uncertainty. You can find many people who can create beautiful setups, but finding someone who is also reliable, dependable, timely, and willing to take responsibility when things don’t go as planned and fair enough to make things right is important. I’m not sure if she was overwhelmed or overbooked, but it did feel like a lot was handled last minute, which was difficult for me & unfair. I upheld my end of the contract and paid close to \$1,000 (around \$950), so I had hoped for a smoother experience. For comparison, even our DJ ran into a few technical issues during the event—but acknowledged them, apologized and offered a small discount, which I deeply respected. A partial refund or any gesture of responsibility on her part would have made a difference & I believe was waranted. I’m not someone who fusses over money, so I chose to move on—but in the end, while the balloons came out good, the stress wasn’t worth it for me.
