I sing in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English, among other languages.I perform solo as singer/guitarist and in every format upwards to large band in genres including Brazilian music, other types of Jazz, Rock, Folk, Blues,Swing, etc. I have recorded radio jingles and voiceover prompts in Portuguese, as well as music for commercials in Brazil. I have performed in France, Brazil, Germany, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, San Francisco, Austin, and Dallas/Ft. Worth, among other places. My vocal style is reminiscent of Diana Krall, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Astrud and Bebel Gilberto, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Linda Ronstadt, Julie London, among others. I prefer performing with fellow live musicians, but I also utilize MIDI backing tracks when needed. Whether the job calls for atmosphere/background music or a more involved audience, I deliver at a level that people remember. Note: I also sing in Hebrew for special occasions. II love performing live and having people come up to say how much they love the music, whether it's a favorite song or just the quality of performance, or the fact that i've shifted gears from a great jazz tune to a song by Patsy Cline to some Eric Clapton or Stevie Ray Vaughn, to some soulful, soothing bossa nova classic by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes. It's always a great feeling to know your audience is going away wanting more, happy they came, and in a better frame of mind than before they experienced the music. I also love the world of recording, whether it's voiceover phone prompts, radio jingles, or complete songs; the level of precision and quality needed for studio work is a challenge I find to be very fulfilling and rewarding.
