Doozies and Desserts is a labor of love! We specialize in amazing homemade desserts and our house specialty sandwich. The Original Doozie!
What’s a Doozie you ask?
The Original Doozie consists of thin layers of freshly baked and beautifully marbled rye bread. Between each layer of bread, lies a layer of the finest cheese and deli meat. Then comes the most important part: Aunt Bertha’s secret sauce which rounds out this mouth-watering creation! Each sandwich can be cut into 4 or 8 pieces.
Not only do we offer Doozies and Desserts we also offer a range of sides and seasonal treats. Custom orders of your liking can also be arranged.

I ordered doozies and desserts for a client’s backyard event. They were the perfect size for passing and the their dessert bars and cookies were amazing! The guests were raving about how delicious everything was. So glad to have such a reliable source.

Reasons to order D&D:
1) The Doozie has almost converted me from my pescatarian tendencies. And the marbled-rye alone is so good, I order the loaves and keep one in my fridge and freezer at almost all times. Think I’m kidding? (See photo)
2) I’m known to be a bit practical (to a fault) and frugal. The idea of buying a desserts other than a pint of ice cream from the grocery perplexed me…. Until I fell in love with a cookie named lemon-ricotta and her lover, the brownie. 🥰🥹… ORDER THEM ASAP. I I eat them so fast they never last long enough to snap photos.
And I’m actually sorry that they offer delivery and costs are reasonable (see #3 to know why…)
3) I’m forced to go to the gym again to keep this under control. 😜
4) After so many orders, finally met the co-owners - the two gals are freakin’ hilarious and down to earth. Go above and beyond every time.

Doozies are large sandwiches cut into 1/4 or 1/8. Crust edges are removed before placed on tray.

We take orders through our website or by phone and can answer any questions you have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Co-owner, Wendy has been working with Doozies for years. The original recipe was invented by a relative years ago and the recipe is trademarked and only a few relatives have the recipe of the “secret sauce”. Co- owner Cheryl has been working with pastries and desserts for years and before merging with Wendy had her own baking company and provided her desserts to several Dallas restaurants.
