"I completed a professional questionnaire customizing the services specific to my needs, signed a very comprehensive contract and we set an appointment for the 28th of March. That's how quickly she was able to accommodate me. She arrived the next day: punctual, her uniform attire with logo perfectly pressed, every and all cleaning & organizing supplies one can dream of. I was nervous, would she judge? Would we get along? Was I ready to do this? Would she be a slave driver? Was she going to be mean? I was seriously worried for nothing. She was awesome, I liked her immediately. This was a person I wanted to work with. Then the magic began. My goal was to clean the garage as a surprise before my boyfriend returned from Rome - I had 5 days. To accomplish clearing out the garage and the following tasks was next to impossible: Organize the Fridge Purge Clothing & Closets Separate & Re-Create Men's/Women's Closets De-Clutter Bathrooms De-Clutter Laundry Area Organize Pantry Purge & Organize all files, paperwork, etc. Label Files, Pantry Items, etc. Maristella was an inspiration. The work she does is not easy, but she loves it (I am still shocked that someone could love it, but she does). Plan, designate, focus, attack, finish - this was the process. While she was doing this, I chose to follow suit-it was inevitable that this may not last once she left. I asked her to tell me what to do, direct me and tell me how and tell me how long I should take (every detail needed for someone with raging ADHD). This ends like a fairytale - the goal was met, we did everything we needed to do! Maristella still did most of it, but I realized as a client I also had to buy into the process. It was a great experience and I learned this process that really gets me motivated & moving. Now, there are times when I lose that luster, but I've contacted Maristella when this happens and somehow she gets me right on track. I call that beyond responsive and Maristella does go above and beyond expectations. She takes great pride in her work, it is a reflection of her. - Christina"

"Without exaggeration, I can actually credit Nancy Peham with saving my life. A few years ago, when I was overwhelmed to the point of collapse while downsizing from an 8,000 square foot home to one half that size, my realtor benevolently sent Nancy Peham from Helping Hands to assist me with the mountainous undertaking. Obviously, I had no idea such a service even existed, and I was skeptical, having only worked with packers from a moving company before - an experience I only wished I could forget. It may sound illusory, but, from the moment Nancy arrived, an immediate feeling of relief swept over me and by the end of the first day, I knew what a Godsend had come my way. She was an energetic, highly productive self-starter, who took direction well. She was, punctual, efficient, well organized, courteous, and professional at all times. She proved to be a trustworthy person who was very respectful of my effects and privacy. Her presence during that move afforded me time to multi-task elsewhere while feeling confident that the impending move was progressing on schedule. For the next several months, Nancy was there rain or shine, working in a vital capacity almost every day, packing, unpacking, organizing closets and sometimes setting up entire rooms while generally aiding me in the coordination of my life in transition. That was nine years, five moves and a few household disasters ago . . . all of which were made immeasurably more proficient with Nancy’s instrumental help. Throughout our long history, I can say without reservation that Nancy has become invaluable to me in a million untold ways. She is currently helping me with the preliminaries of what may be a long distance move, in which case I will definitely rely on Nancy’s incomparable skills to promote the logistics of this endeavor - I have no qualms in saying outright that I would not trust anyone but Nancy to facilitate such a task. Lastly, it would not be a proper testimonial to her fine character without mentioning Nancy’s indisputably kind heart and persistent integrity, rare virtues which not only serve to solidify her ratification as a person, but, for me, personally exemplify someone who I have the distinct privilege to call my friend.
