James responded quickly and was able to come out on a Sunday to look at my unbalanced washer. The service call cost $57 which would be waived if he was hired for the work. Well, the diagnostic consisted of James looking at the washer, running a test load to witness the knocking of my unbalanced washer. He then placed folded cardboard under the back corners to help level the washer, saying that my foundation may be a part of the issue. All of that cost $103.50… After James left, the washer continued to knock. He said he’ll order shocks and sent an invoice with a balance of $400 plus bucks… I found a video online and recalibrated my washer. I’ve now washed 2 loads of laundry and only have to adjust the load once. I’ll just buy another washer at this point.
