Latest Review: It was my first time using Thumbtack - My wife and I decided to look for a personal trainer. After going thru some choices that were narrowed down to our liking, we shot off rate/quote request to about 5 personal trainers nearby. To start off, what I liked about Zak was that I got a call from him IMMEDIATELY. Showed that he was serious, so I took the call and had a brief discussion on what we were looking for. Moving on to first meeting.. First meeting was free and during that time, he really took the time to get to know our needs, strengths, study our posture and make corrective suggestions. After the session, prices were discussed and on we go. There you have it - Simple, no hassle or obligation to we were signed up for his training. For people who are looking for a personal trainer, I know this can be a virgin territory. It certainly was for us. Zak understood that and took us from the basics. He offers nutrition programs (which is included in the rate for training - Can't be that). Nutrition program is designed for each individual and not that one plan fits all. My workouts are far different from my wife's workout. He has tremendous knowledge in what he is doing and is a dedicated student in learning more himself. Very respectful and a humble individual he is. We get weighed in end of every week and progress is recorded. You can really tell that he cares for your goals and not like other trainer that I've heard horror stories about, who only care about the money. With Zak, you are not just his paycheck - he truly cares for the well being. Zak being a powerlifter, he has shared many tips on better posture, better workout, and muscle recovery remedies. It's unusual for me to write a review online for anything, but when I know that I'm working with the best and with a person who is honest and genuinely cares for people, the least I can do is to pay it forward and let everyone know about what Zak has to offer. Give him a call - First session is free anyways, what do you have to lose?

Latest Review: Marvin offered personal training at the office building I worked in this was extremely convenient for me because I didn't have to drive to gym and it did not interfere with family time. Also as a new mom, I was looking for a trainer that would be patient enough to allow me to get back into a fitness routine - but at the same time, keep me on track with my goals. Marvin delivered on both! I found Marvin to be knowledgeable and thoughtful when he created my fitness plan. Things worked out so well for me, that I told my colleagues at work about working out with Marvin - they decided to join me for the lunch hour work out sessions and we got fit together!

Latest Review: Janelle has been the best personal trainer I have ever had to date. I was a college athlete and in and out of gyms my entire life and I have never had as good of an experience or as good of results as I have had with Janelle. She is attentive to you and your needs. She is always finding ways to create fun and interesting workouts that you know will get you results. She is very knowledgeable on all things fitness and helps you in anyway that she can to help you reach your fitness goals.

Latest Review: Growing up I was always athletic, and slim; however, things started to change in my 40’s. My lifestyle became more sedentary and the inches came on quickly. I was so consumed with life’s daily struggles, and didn’t make time for my personal heath. I knew something needed to change in order to gain control, and I was the only one responsible for making a change. When I met with Brian, I was a little intimidated. I knew I wasn’t in the best of shape, and working out had become something I no longer made time for. Not only was I was shocked when he weighed me in, and took my measurements, I discovered I had high blood pressure. This was the wakeup call I needed. When I began my journey with Brian, I started Advocare’s “24 Day Challenge” and worked out three times a week for 30 minutes. I was amazed by how disciplined I became with a great workout regime. After the 24 days, I was down 13 pounds and my blood pressure was also down to a normal level. Brian is not like most personal trainers I have had in the past. He is motivating and takes a personal interest in helping each and every one of his clients reach their goals. Every workout is different. I love the challenge and never get bored. Today, I have so much more energy, and even exercise at home with my daughter. Glad I made the choice to make a change. I highly recommend Brian.

Latest Review: Jose does a terrific job of paying close attention to my form as I work out. I've had other trainers that spent more time looking in the mirror than watching me resulting in injuries. Jose focuses on not only improving my strength but also stretching to prevent further injuries. His workouts are unique each time so I never know what's in store for each session. I would highly recommend him for the beginner or elite athlete, his workouts are customized to each person.

Latest Review: So I admit it, I signed up for remote training with Elijah thinking I would get a detailed workout plan that I could ease myself into without the pressure of having a trainer there making me work harder than I was wanting to... :) My plan backfired though, because Elijah's plans kicked my butt no matter how much (or little) effort I put into it. His workouts are a perfect combination to challenge your balance, strength, flexibility, and endurance, and over time you'll not only get stronger physically, but mentally and spiritually too (follow him on IG and snapchat for some pretty amazing inspirational videos!) I've been working with Elijah for 8 weeks now, and I can see a noticeable difference in my strength and physique already. I'm a slim person as is, but I'm really starting to feel more tone and notice definition. I've even gotten compliments from people which proved to me my hard work was paying off! I did not invest in Elijah's nutrition plan yet, but if the work he put into that matches the heart he puts into his workout plan, I can almost guarantee you, getting both will be a killer combination. All I have to say is, get ready for a love/hate relationship with this man. You're gonna hate him for what he's putting you through, but at the end, when you're flat on the floor, dripping with sweat, gasping for air, you'll love him for what he's doing for you.
