The best door installer I’ve ever dealt with. I would highly recommend Chance!!!!
Rick and his partner installed a whole house of baseboard for me, as well as some pocket doors and door casings. I have hired Rockwell trim at my previous home and once again they proved professional, flexible, competent and very reasonably priced. Good work at a fair rates. One can ask for little more. Customer for life :)
Larry arrived a few minutes before the appointment time. He was very pleasant and jumped right into work. Our pocket door was not an easy fix to get it back on the track, but Larry kept with it until it was fixed. He had to remove the door trim on both sides of the door and cut away some of the sheet rock. He put everything back to original condition with minimal touch-up paint needed. The job took longer than he probably expected, but he honored his original quote. We will use him again for any door project needs.
We hired Dan to install a toilet. He was prompt, responsive, professional, and performed quality work. He even helped fix our pocket door that was stuck. His prices were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.
I needed some sliding closet doors repaired before my house listed for sale. I was in a time crunch but Josh was able to come out the next day and fixed my closet doors. They are now working perfectly! I would definitely use this company again for home repairs.
Manny saved my renovation - and maybe my marriage! Hired Manny's Painting Services to paint the downstairs of a Condo my wife and I just purchased. When I met him, I could tell he was the guy for the job! His bid was straight forward and fair and he could work with our short time frame. Well, as renovations often go, the small project of removing part of a wall grew with the addition of plumbing and electrical. I ran out of time and wasn't able to get the Sheetrock up myself. I messaged Manny and he told me not to worry, he would get it handled - and he definitely did! I told Manny I would have the Sheetrock there for the guys by 9:30 Am. His guys were waiting at the house for me when I got back from Home Depot at 9:10! They unloaded the Sheetrock and asked for corner stripping, which o of course forgot. In the 25 minutes it took me to go to Home Depot and back, they had almost all the Sheetrock up. They filled in holes all over the house and made all the corners straight. Everything looked perfect and they even cleaned up after! Manny was on site for much of the job and made everything so easy. He told me they would be back the next day to paint (they needed to give the mud a day to dry). They guys were there early again the next day and wasted no time and got right to work! They knocked out the whole place (including a 20 foot tall stairway) in just a couple hours and everything was perfect! Manny came by soon after the job to make sure everything was perfect and it was! I can't say enough about the work Manny and his guys did! True professionals!
Ever did an outstanding job converting half of my garage to a room. He was very flexible, and very affordable. even came to look at what I wanted done one a Sunday. Completed the job fast and did a great job. I recommend him 100% and will hire him for any work I need done in the future.
We had to "fire" a contractor who inappropriately installed a door, wood trim and created other mishaps. I found Chuck through Thumbtack to finish the work and I appreciated his positive attitude and how he assured us that he could fix the problems and he did! He did an excellent job and did it below his initial quote. I definitely hope we can have him do more work for us in the future!
I hired JWR Home Service for wall mounting installation for 3 separate rooms in my apartment. I did extensive research with all other services that advertise through thumbtack as well as some outside of the website. I found that JWR provided the best deal and decided to go through them. It was the best decision I made, from the beginning it was an easy process. Scheduling and payment was a breeze, Jason showed up promptly at my door on the day of installation. He was polite and professional, he provided his input when needed and listened to my request with no problem. If your struggling with all the headache that comes with T.V. wall mounting JWR is your cure. Avoid all the hassle that comes with worrying about which wall mount to purchase or what tools you need. Jason knows his job and knows it well.
Nice guy. He did an awesome job installing our pet door. Will definitely use again for other jobs around the house!
Craig installed a ceiling fan and fixed a door that wouldn't stay shut. Craig arrived on time, did the install, fixed the door and charged what he had quoted. I am very satisfied and will use Craig for my Handyman needs in the future!
Gerardo did a great job re-staining our cabinets, garage door and front door. They all look great.
Stu is an overall nice guy. He spent a lot of time and effort to make sure my french doors were installed to my satisfaction. He takes pride in his work and won't stop working until he feels the job has been completed to his own very high standards. I would recommend him for all your handyman needs.
He told me he needed to see the job to give me a affordable quote. He saw job and gave me good prise on installing this door. He was so responsible because on the day he needed door I forgot and he went himself go get it without no charge that was my fault but it was installed and looks amazing great guy.
I chose Ray because of the reviews he received here. I write now to add to those excellent reviews he's already received. The job was for re-caulking all windows, doors, and cracks in the brick veneer of a one-story ranch house. Ray surveyed the prospective job, gave advice on how to proceed, and proffered a bid that I was delighted with. He asked for a down payment to cover materials. The only thing that could have gone better is the weather! Because caulk does not adhere very well at ;pw temperature and this job was done in the last half of December 2016, beginning the job required monitoring the weather reports, looking for a window of weather warm enough to avoid risking the quality of the job because of low temperatures. The needed warmish weather appeared (this is Texas, after all), and the project was accomplished in a day and a bit more on a second day. I am well-pleased with the quality of the work and the price. Ray was excellent in communication with me, both via the messaging utility here at Thumbtack, and also via telephone. I always knew when, in his judgment, the weather had not warmed up sufficiently, and also when he was heading my way to do the work.
