I would give this rating more than 5 stars if I could because the experience we had working with Tutor Revolution was exceptional and far beyond my expectations. My daughter, a junior in high school, needed help with HS math. We tried many tutors prior to finding Tutor Revelation and couldn't find the right fit. My daughter even spent six months at Sylvan and made absolutely no progress – what a disappointment that was. One of the best things about Ashley at Tutor Revolution is she has a keep ability to match the right tutor with the right student. After talking to Ashley about my daughter's needs and learning style, she knew that Anum was the right fit and boy was she right! My daughter worked with Anum and made progress immediately during the first session. Anum is very patient and explains complex math problems in a way that any high school student that struggles with math can understand. We were hesitant at first working remotely, but that hesitation subsided when my daughter picked up the user-friendly platform right away. As a mom, it was very difficult to see my daughter have so much anxiety about math because she just couldn't wrap her head around it. What a relief it was to see the light bulb go off as she worked with Anum! We will continue to use Tutor Revolution for any subjects as needed while my daughter finishes high school. Our search for the right tutoring fit is over and once you try their services yours will be too.

My son was struggling with trigonometry days before his mid-term exam. Anum and ashley both spent time with my daughter helping her some very difficult geometry problems . My daughter mentioned that it was the first time she truly truly understood the material , which is such a gift . Ashley helped my daughter with a college entrance test. She located sample problems and was prepared to effectively provide guidance on a level my daughter could understand. My son briefly worked with Erin. He said he appreciated that she spent some time in their first session getting to know him a little bit. In regards to the tutoring, he said that she was very good at explaining the math concepts, and made sure he understood it before moving on.

We reserve the right to charge for scheduled appointments that are missed in a manner disrespectful of our time. Generally, we request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are going to miss a scheduled session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat for about 20 minutes to get to know about the student and his or her needs. It is important to know their educational background, any strengths/weaknesses, and extracurricular activities. This really helps me learn a little more before we meet the student. Then we start establishing a relationship with the student. We assess if it will be a good fit for everyone involved; it is crucial that a relationship form.
