About
I started my professional journey in clinical social work as a school counselor for college students. From there, I moved to a hospital environment working in adult and adolescent psychiatric care as a LMSW, crisis intervention and family counselor. I specialize in trauma recovery and come from an attachment focused lens and integrate neuroscience and dialectical behavioral therapy into my work. I am a certified Heart Math Trainer, which focuses on tools to become heart-brain coherent, which is a critical piece in healing. I am also trained by Dr. Joe Dizpenza as a NeuroChange solutions consultant. His work has taught me the power of meditation and tapping into the divine resources within each person that can powerfully heal the mind, body and spirit. I meet you where you are and am flexible. My experience with Kristin was great. She genuinely cared about me and used different methods to help my anxiety. Talking to her and getting her advice was very useful and helped me relax more and understand more about myself. She has a very sweet personality and I would have continued to see her if I could.

When my relationship of eight years ended, I experienced intense grief, loss of identity, and regret over time wasted. I went into a depression that was not lifting. I knew I needed help and I’m so grateful that my search led me to Kristin. She is an amazing counselor who helped me to reframe my experience by teaching me to understand the root cause of my emotions and past choices. She helped me to identify patterns I was unconsciously engaged in, which gave me the tools to rebuild my life and self-worth. Her holistic approach and focus on the mind, body, spirit connection is truly unique and allowed me to heal on a deeper level than some of the other more traditional therapeutic approaches I had tried in the past. She’s extremely empathetic, non-judgemental, patient, and passionate about her work and clients. I can’t recommend her enough!

Kristin is very caring and supportive. As I worked through deeper issues related to trauma in childhood, she offered a lot of insight about setting boundaries, honest communication, and forgiveness. She walked with me through the process as God used her to help me grow. Over the course of time, I worked through things from my past and have seen lots of healing and growth both in myself and in the relationships of those around me. God used her to show me areas of my past where I was stuck and now am experiencing freedom.

Kristin is an amazing and incredible counseling. My family was going though difficult circumstances and I had to take a break from college. I was having a lot of anxiety about the future and life in general. I also was dealing with a lot of internal negativity and depression. She helped me love myself and have a greater understanding of my life and life but as well as taught me incredibly coping skills that I use daily. She is compassionate and has good insight and wisdom. She not only helped me cope with my family life, my self, but also guided me in deciding my college major and career path.
