I wanted to buy window tint for a Christmas Gift. I explained my request and offered to pay on a certain date. I was told that the credit card processor was down and if not working by that date would need a check. I went ahead and sent a gift that when opened says to contact Eclipse to make an appointment as I was under the impression that he was going to take the payment. When the date arrived, I was told again that the processor was not working (which I found odd, because I handle the Credit card set up at my office and know that even if one of the machines is not working you can still call it in or do it online) so I offered to send funds via ACH, or check. At that time he told me he prefers cash or check at time of service and to buy a gift card and send. If I had wanted to do that, I wouldn't have contacted him and tried to send they payment. This is very unprofessional, if they are unable to process credit cards and do not want payment in advance he should have told me that when I contacted him. Now I must find another service provider and tell the person receiving the gift that the information is not correct and to contact someone else.Dec 20, 2013Charles M.'s reply
