I haven't taken piano with Jennifer, but I certainly would if I lived closer. Jennifer was the leader in my college church group and was also involved in the contemporary choir that my friends drug me to. I had always been a musician, but was far too embarrassed to sing. Her encouragement and assistance during choir and our campouts gave me the confidence to sing in front of others and actually enjoy it. Now, I help with the choir at the school and often sing the examples for the students and sometimes perform with them. I had no idea how to sing and ended up taking 2 voice classes in college and now teach others. If Jennifer Rasch could do this for me, image what she can do for you!

I was one of her AP Music Theory students my senior year and one of her musicians from elementary school all the way to high school. She is a very patient teacher who explains theory and musical concepts very well and in a manner that is easy to understand. She challenged my musical abilities and had me step up and take a leadership role in our band and choir. I knew that I was capable of doing so because I had been taught so well. She would break down difficult pieces of music with certain instrument groups who had a more difficult time with the section. She was always encouraging and enthusiastic about whatever piece we were working on. I have never had a better music teacher.

Both my sons thrived under Jennifer's music teaching during their middle school and high school years. Jennifer is patient and caring. She took a personal interest in my kid's lives, not just their growth in musical ability.

Jennifer gave lesson to both of our daughters. They couldn't wait to go each week!! They progressed very quickly and seemed to love the way Jennifer encouraged them. They have both continued with their music even as they are 24 and 29 years old! Jennifer truely loves music and is a consumate teacher.

When my daughter expressed the desire to learn piano, it took almost a year before I found a good teacher for her. I didn't want just a teacher. I wanted a teacher who will also be a mentor. Since we met Jennifer, she has done more than what I expected for my daughter. Jennifer is very supportive. She provides a caring and loving learning environment. My daughter is always looking forward to her piano lesson. Finally, Jennifer's lesson package is very affordable for my family budget.

30 minute weekly lessons cost $86 per month, and 45 minute weekly lessons cost $129 per month. I give discounts for families with more than one student.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I taught classroom music in an international school for 12 years while raising my 2 beautiful children overseas. Now that I am back in Texas, I am happy to combine my love of piano with my love for teaching, especially children.
