My husband and I could not have been happier with DJ Kappaman. We found him on Thumbtack. After meeting with Joe Winn, my husband and I pretty much knew we would pick him for our November wedding. We felt Joe understood us and our kind of music and the kind of atmosphere we were hoping for. Prior to our wedding Joe spent over 2 hours with us planning out everything. He made sure he could pronounce the bridal party’s names and he went over all the details of how the night would run. My husband and I had a few special requests and things we wanted announced and Joe took note of it all. We went over our play list and Joe was able to get a good sense of what we wanted. Joe was easy to get in touch within the weeks and days leading up to our wedding and he always got back to us promptly. I even emailed him the day before with a last minute change from our soloist and he got right back to me! I knew our wedding was in good hands and I was right! Joe remembered everything we requested throughout the evening and it was so great knowing that I didn't have to worry about a thing! People had a great time dancing. So many people came up to us during the wedding and afterwards praising Joe and the music. There were people of all generations and different ethnicities at the wedding and the music worked for everyone. I cannot write it enough, but thank you Joe for helping to make our wedding day so amazing!

Joe is so professional, my wedding was a complicated mix of 4 different cultures and he did it in amazing way, I personally don’t know how he did it, but he is a mega star and he did it in a way made everyone feel happy. I was worry about my Kurdish part of the wedding since it is not known here in USA, but Joe made it so so so easy and professional. I am amazed wit the mix he did with the Kurdish, American, Mexican and Arabic music. You awesome man and super star. Thanks for the job you did.

He was great! Everyone at my wedding enjoyed Joe's music selection. My husband initially didn't plan on a mother-son dance, so we didn't have music selected for it. But, at the last minute they decided to do one and Joe found a great song for my husband to dance to with his mom. I enjoyed every minute and would hire Joe again in a heartbeat.
