FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in upfront, fair pricing with no surprise charges. Diagnostic/Service Call: We charge a flat service call to diagnose the issue, and we’ll explain what we find before any work starts. Upfront Estimates: You’ll get pricing options (good/better/best) and approve the total before we do repairs or replacements. No Hidden Fees: We don’t add “mystery” fees—any after-hours, holiday, or special-request charges (if needed) are discussed before dispatch. Repairs vs. Replacement: We prioritize the most cost-effective repair when it makes sense and only recommend replacement if it’s truly the better long-term value. Discounts & Promotions: We run seasonal specials and offer discounts for maintenance plans, repeat customers, and select groups (ask us what’s available). Credits Toward Repair: In many cases, the diagnostic fee can be applied toward the repair if you move forward the same visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here’s our typical process with a new customer: Quick call/text to confirm details – We ask a few questions about the issue, the system type, and any symptoms so we arrive prepared. Schedule your appointment – We set a convenient time window and send confirmation. Arrival & walkthrough – Our technician checks the thermostat/settings, asks a few questions, and does a quick visual inspection. Full diagnostic – We test the system, identify the root cause, and document what we find. Clear options & upfront pricing – We explain the problem in plain language and give repair/replacement options with pricing before any work begins. Same-day repair when possible – With a fully stocked truck, we can handle many repairs on the spot. Test & verify – We run the system to confirm proper operation and review what was done. Next steps – We share maintenance tips, answer questions, and provide recommendations to prevent future issues.
